Glad I tried Dior Sauvage early on around 2016-17 because i loved it the EDT when i was about done with it everyone was wearing it. It was probably my mother's favorite she really liked it.
Sauvage gets a lot of hate for no reason, most people don't use perfum, better use a good one like D.S than nothing. As a person who likes perfumes, My advice for You is: "if You like it, get it, don't listen to what other people Say, You can look up for an opinion to see what is good or last longer, or just to know the Best brands, but when You smell one and it's good for You, get it, don't matter what people Say about it on yt or tiktok".
Another great video Monika . I wear the Elixar. I’ve watching since 2019 and you used to sit with a tripod lamp in the background when you said 3-2-1. Your husband was in none of the videos back then.😎
Loewe Cobalt is what I switched to. Its closer to Bleu de Chanel in terms of blue fragrances but I wholly prefer it. Sabina Store out of spain has decent prices and ships rather quickly to the states for Loewe products which are otherwise tough to find on north american sites.
I'm into Aquatics: YSL Y EDP, Rassassi Hawas, and Invictus... (I asked what it was.) And some tabacco scents. It smells like tabacco to me, I didn't ask what it was.
I need to add Armaf Hunter Intense to this list :) It's a mix between Sauvage and Invictus, yet somehow they managed to pull it off. Cheap as chips, strong as Polish vodka, long-lasting, a compliment magnet... What's not to like? (other than the hideous bottle, but that's forgivable at this price point).
Great video as usual, I have all of these except the Creed...I wear all of them, even the sauvage, but I switch it up. I try not to wear the same scent twice in a week. I have gotten to the point where i plan my scents on the situation, the weather/season and how im feeling that day. I love turning heads, helps me attract and find my "monika" lol
1. Roja Elysium 2. Missoni Parfum Pour Homme EDP 3. Creed Millesime Imperial 4. Yves Saint Laurent Y Elixir 5. Tumi Awaken. By the way... I'm keeping the Dior Savage. I would only choose to add the Roja Elysium. Don't care about the others.
Dude, Sauvage Elixir is still the king of performance and compliments! It's pricey, so it's not as common, but Creed Irish Tweed's a close second. Right now I'm rocking One Million Royal until it's gone.
Thanks Monika, great work, as usual. Better than Dior Sauvage EDT, pretty much everything. I never understood, nor will I ever, the popularity of this synthetic, chemical, dumpster fire scent. But as we all know, scents are objective to the consumer, and if you believe that the Sauvage DNA (exception for the Elixir) is "LIT" well then,...... you're just wrong! Lol, I meant, good for you.
Missoni smells like a quintessential blue fragrance. Very soapy and woody but not much in the way of projection or sillage. Not bad, though. Teensy bit synthetic.
Roja is entirely different category. I strongly doubt that most of the Sauvage consumers with go the length. I dont know how the EDT smells but I got the EDP and only because someone brought to me 490ml bottles from Paris Dior Boutiques and the properties, and the smell is okay-ish and I can understand why so many people go for it. I just ordered Missoni since it was very cheap, so i'd have to see what this is about, but YSL you mentioned I doubt it can performs as well as Sauvage EDP/EDT. Marry Christmas Moni, to you and everyone!
Missoni parfum pour homme... it's just a fruity bleu de chanel but the quality isn't as natural smelling, but it has a nice apple fruity smell. Bleu de chanel often gets criticized as being a boring citrus scent, so maybe if you want something more interesting and fruity then it's the only reason to buy missoni parfum pour homme.... But with that said it's quite different than bleu de chanel, not redundant to own both they do smell different enough... And all the Y line of fragrances are beast mode even the Eau fraiche which was the weakest of the Y line, definitely last longer than sauvage
@@GrowingDownUnder Thanks for the feedback. I never cared for BDC, not really a fan of mainstream scents. Found Missoni for 40 euros, so ordered it without hesitation. In worst case scenario it will be another office bottle I'll keep. From YSL I own only Electric 50ml and very old 200ml la nuit del'homme I rarely use. Picked up Tuxedo and Babycat from Malaga airport this summer but didnt even have the opportunity to open them yet, to decide what I wanna do with it. Do you own any Rojas? I head the properties arnt on pair with the price tag...
@@Adam_StefaniakSaltea_Moonspell L'homme and la nuit collection are the weakest performing from YSL.... but YSL usually have beast mode fragrances such as the Y collection, Myslf and even the new Libre intense. And even some others like babycat, tuxedo and trench are pretty good performers too
@@Adam_StefaniakSaltea_Moonspell I owned roja elysium, but sold that a while ago since it was too sour for my personal liking and wasn't wearing it much. I've tried a bunch of other rojas though like oceania, enigma, vetiver, isola blu, elysium intense, midsummer dream and some others but nothing from their oud range yet. Don't really like most roja fragrances i've tried though, very overrated brand but I love the bottles. Some people swear the quality of roja is good but some just smell cheap to me. Overall elysium is still the best roja i've tried just not the intense version
If you’re tired of Dior Sauvage edt get the edp. It doesn’t last as long but when I wear it women react. I have a medium size collection of about 30 bottles and 40 samples and my gf can’t stop hugging me when in wear it. Thank me later
Depends, if you want to smell like liquorice. I didn't like the smell of liquorice in the EDP but I liked the sweetness of it and softness of it... Just stick with coach platinum if you want sauvage edp without the liquorice smell
Good review and recommendations thank you, like the 3,2,1. I l agree with your recommendations and I will add another one you recommended before, MFK Amyris Homme, I got it after your recommendation and love it, do you find much difference between the Amyris extract and the EDP ?
I hate to say this, but Sauvage is better than all the alternatives in this video. I don't see any reason why people hate on Sauvage at all. The Y Elixir is mediocre compared to other Y flankers like the EDP or Le Parfum, and Greed, sorry Creed is not great, too expensive, and performs badly. Also the only two fragrances worth buying from Tumi are Continuum and 19 degrees, the others are just cheap smelling and generic.
I have never smelled Savage and I'm okay with that. I probably try the. When I started collecting ( a few years ago ) that's all I heard about. That and Aventis. I got turned off from both of them. Savage Elixir sounds like something I might try.
