Copper grease is also good for lightly smearing on the spark plug threads.

Thanks mate, I've heard of some using it but I wouldn't as you stand a higher risk of over tightening a spark plug using copper grease which is something you really don't want to do.. 😬👍

great watch...only thing i would say to you is don't keep starting the bike without riding it or you;ll be fitting new plugs again....i'v owned over 16 blades and they are notorious for fouling up plug when just started and not ridden...just a heads up....

I'm fully aware of this but its kind of hard to not start the bike if you want to see if the tacho is working 😂 I think I've had at least 8 fireblades and to many other bikes to list over my 34 years of riding and working on bikes. Can't say I've had a plug foul up on me yet but will keep a eye on it 😉👍
