I missed it if you told us about the substrate on the dog. It looks like cork! I really enjoy watching you create.

The sunflower was always gorgeous but the end product was dazzling. I'm still gob-smacked by the dog's eyes. I always love the little take out interviews and switching back and forth to other works. Loads of fun and lots learned. Thank you again.

The sunflower is absolutely beautiful! Another amazing video .... the tip about cutting an inward curve is ‘gold’. Thanks so much for sharing.

She makes cutting that curve look easy! I’m not a fan of growing pliers, but I’ll give them another chance after watching that!

I love your rules and the aqua-y blue glass you used for the background. It's a nice contrast, but goes well with the yellow.

I think making the rules for the background might be a control issue I have! 😳

@@mazzonimosaics8222 No, I think they make a lot of sense. Visual people see things a certain way, especially when we are creating the art. I'm sure the classical painters had certain rules they set up and followed as well. 🙂

Good tip on custom cutting the squares. I did a mosaic where I precut all the squares and when it came to the keystoning it was quite the pain fitting them in, and it took twice as long as it should have lol

Depends on the project, but I am using Weldbond for the Lemon Queen, Millie the dog, and the Geometric as they are all intended for inside.

I’m still confused as to what tiles to use and what should be their thickness and is it ok to use tiles of different thickness in one project 🤔
