Amen and Amen Praise God for your truth brother. My faith has costed me many relationships when I put God first. I didn’t end relationships with some friends they ended their relationship and friendship with me because I chose to put God first in my life. A friend of the world is an enemy of God I’ve been an enemy of God before I got right with him Bless you brother Adam

My faith has cost me most all of my friends brother - as well as put a strain on my reaction ship with some family members. But that’s just one way to know you are walking the narrow path because Jesus said it would be so. He said wow to you when everybody speaks well of you for so they did to the false prophets, and households and families would be divided.
God bless you. You have the family of God with you brother, and a better city awaiting you too.

Another wonderful video Adam! Jesus said if the blind lead the blind they both end up in the ditch. Teachers who are in love with the World and not willing to forsake their love of it will undoubtedly produce likeminded believers. So when someone confronts them with their idolatry and shows them the TREASURE of their heart is the things of this world they almost always say that’s LEGALISM! But hopefully messages like this might remove the blinders from a few and recover them from the snare of the enemy who keeps them blinded to the truth. Blessings brother ❤️🙏🏻

Yes and it is brother. I get people emailing me and writing me more and more saying they have repented of their sins and are walking the narrow path now. We have to keep sowing to reap a bountiful harvest. The workers are very few.

@@abideintheWordThe Greek word translated 'strive' in Luke 13:24, is where we get the English root for 'agonize' - "Agonize to enter through the narrow gate..." 'Wait - you mean that it's NOT just a one-time prayer of belief?' - short answer, "It is not" - long answer, "It is notttttttttttttt".
Adam, only by God's blessing and power have you been able to continue striving against the ignorance and darkness that has overcome the Christian world. We literally have no excuse to not know what God's word is telling us. If we are reading His word with purpose and in prayer, we cannot be deceived by lies like OSAS.
I watched a video of a guy who came out of Catholicism into the Protestant faith, and he was using chart/displays to illustrate the differences between the two. While there are significant differences in the face of some similarities, the chart he put up of 'Protestant Salvation' literally showed a person going from that one-time prayer to the high status of being unaffected by things like sin and good deeds all while degrading the many conditions that Catholicism places on salvation. While Catholicism gets many things wrong (man-made conditions rather than pure biblical truth), its emphasis on meeting certain scriptural conditions is absolutely on target. It made for anyone knowing what the Bible truly teaches, cringe at the ignorance and falsehoods infecting the Protestant church.
It is amazing and disappointing at the same time that Calvinism still persists despite the flaws and his murdering ways. The Bible clearly teaches that faith must be mixed with works to be saved in the end. It's like there are 3 phases to salvation:
1 Initial - at being 'born again', where salvation has been given as a guarantee at the end of a life abiding in Christ and His teachings.
2 Ongoing - the sanctification process of our lives being conformed more and more to Christ's where sin is overcome, faith is lived out in good works, and the love of God lives in our hearts and extends to those around us.
3 Final - after having abided and endured to the end, we receive "the end of our faith - the salvation of your souls" 1 Peter 1:9.
Definitely not just a one-time prayer!

    • @abideintheWord
      @abideintheWord  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

Well I have made up my mind I will serve only God -
“Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ ””
      ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭4:10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
If I’m not walking in sin, I have peace. If I’m in sin, then I shouldn’t have any guarantee of peace, as the Bible says there is no peace for the wicked.
Question for you is how can you live in deception that you can’t lose it?

    • @bteam26
      @bteam26 ปีที่แล้ว +6

Exactly you can’t because if you think that way then your salvation relies on yourself and not jesus dying on the cross.
“These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”
      ‭‭1 John‬ ‭5‬:‭13‬ ‭KJV‬‬
The second you think your salvation relies on you you’re not fully trusting in Jesus dying for you.
“Anyone who builds on that foundation may use a variety of materials-gold, silver, jewels, wood, hay, or straw. But on the judgment day, fire will reveal what kind of work each builder has done. The fire will show if a person’s work has any value. If the work survives, that builder will receive a reward. But if the work is burned up, the builder will suffer great loss. The builder will be saved, but like someone barely escaping through a wall of flames.”
      ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭3‬:‭12‬-‭15‬
Works are important bur clearly it says even those who have terrible works but believe will still be saved.
“Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.”
      ‭‭Romans‬ ‭4‬:‭4‬-‭5‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Jesus did the work to save you if you believe that then you are saved now our works show our appreciation. Trust in jesus not yourself.
“Watch out for those dogs, those people who do evil, those mutilators who say you must be circumcised to be saved. For we who worship by the Spirit of God are the ones who are truly circumcised. We rely on what Christ Jesus has done for us. We put no confidence in human effort,”
      ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭3‬:‭2‬-‭3‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Another truth filled message Adam. Thanks for taking the time to make your videos! We all appreciate it! “If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgement and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God” Hebrews 10:26-31. If you’re not all-in with God and following The Way you’re against Him and are His enemy. God bless!

Thank you for the encouraging words friend. If Hebrews 6 and 10 don’t do it for somebody and strike the fear of the Lord in them, then I question whether or not they really want the truth. It’s about as plain as it gets. And it’s scary to know that to become an enemy of God we don’t even have to necessarily do some grievous sin. James says that simply loving the world is enough to make us an enemy of God!
      James 4:4 ESV
You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
So I picture a guy who is a citizen of a country who all of the sudden decides to take up a rifle and aim it towards the army of his own country. Not a very smart move. He is likely going to be obliterated no matter if he is a citizen of that country or not. Well just like that when we go back to the world we are taking up arms against God and standing in the way of the advancing of the army of God - not a wise move!

Yes, and I wish I would have mentioned this in the vid and I sort of alluded to it, but if you look at professional soldiers who make it far like full bird colonel, generals, etc. - if you ask them they will admit that in order to get to that level they have to put most everything to the side. Their families are often neglected, they have no hobbies, no entertainment, etc. Likewise many professional athletes are so focused on training that they forgo pretty much everything. Like I said in the vid I am not suggesting abandoning our spouses and families, but yet the call in the Bible seems to be overwhelmingly to live in such a way that like these professional soldiers and athletes you are so focused that you are pushing everything else out and you even have to sacrifice time with family and friends at times for the greater mission.
      God bless!

Yesterday I posted a video on my channel talking about Christians watching TV. I told them that just taking a camera and filming something is not a sin in itself but it's the content that leads people to sin. Maybe some people feel that just watching a movie is not a sin for them and maybe its not a sin for them, but that still doesn't mean you shouldn't take it seriously

Literally the first thing I was taught by the Holy Spirit when i came to Christ is that salvation can be LOST. The orthodox had it right. We are saved, are being saved and shall be saved. So if we quit at any time, we’re headed to the fire because the Spirit LEAVES. If anyone think you can’t lose salvation, you absolutely CAN because i did after being warned to repent MULTIPLE times but hardening my neck. Now i find it impossible to get back to God no matter how much i fast, pray and weep. He is DONE! I’m headed to an eternity of it if God doesn’t have mercy on me SO STOP PLAYING GAMES WITH SIN! Especially the sin of doubt and unbelief.

Yes! Jeremiah says cursed is the one who truss in man.
      Jeremiah 17:5
      Thus says the LORD:
“Cursed is the man who trusts in man
      and makes flesh his strength,
whose heart turns away from the LORD.
That’s what many are doing today - whether it’s the pope or whether it’s John Calvin or Martin Luther or Joseph Smith or their pastor. And they have no excuse because they have their own bibles they can read. But they want to be fed the lies and they accumulate for themselves these false teachers to tell them lies -
      2 Timothy 4:3-4
For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.
      God bless you!

“Lord, they have killed your prophets, they have demolished your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life.” But what is God’s reply to him? “I have kept for myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.”

    1. What is your opinion on predestination?
    2. If God rejected me, do I have no chance of salvation? I sinned consciously with the sin of masturbation and many others, I knew it was taking me away from Him, but I didn't care, I feel a bit like Saul, I felt that I was chosen because everyone in the area is a Catholic, even the family that serves Mary passes by, I think I lost my salvation, I miss meaning of life and God does not answer my question for a very long time, I asked him if it was too late, I almost stopped believing, I want to cry but at the same time I start to have it all somewhere I do not know what to do ..

      James 4:6-10
But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Be wretched and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.
God promises that if you draw near to Him and humble yourself and cleanse yourself then He WILL draw near to you! This is a promise. But do you believe it? The only thing standing between you is your willingness to draw near to God and humble yourself and repent. God is wishing that all come to repentance and a knowledge of the truth.
Predestination as Calvinists describe it is totally unbiblical. God chooses us yes, but not for absolutely zero reason at all.
Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. The call is to love Him with all our heart mind soul and strength. Do that and you will live!

Praise God! Steph, the narrow path is a lonely road. There aren’t many on it sadly. But there still is a remnant out there. A couple thoughts -
      1) LOVE is the key to everything - without it we are a noisy gong. Our hearts have to be set on God which He will then in turn set our hearts on returning His lost sheep. It is out of this love that we are able to endure the rejection, loneliness, and persecution. We have to remember to keep love at the forefront. This doesn’t mean we preach a soft message at all because love is telling people the truth. But have God give you the love that will drive you to press on. But like the Bible says be careful you don’t get swept up in their lawlessness and lose your own stability.
      2) let God speak to you and tell you where He wants you. He may want you there or somewhere entirely different I don’t know that. God is the only one who can tell you.
      3) I have found that one prayer that God always answers is when you pray for Christian fellowship. Pray for that and have faith He will bring someone to you. He has been so faithful to my wife and I even if it takes some time.
Don’t give up fighting the good fight and don’t get discouraged. Let the Holy Spirit be your comforter. God bless!

People who believe in once saved always saved don't believe we can ever really stop sinning but people who judge and tell them that you can ironically they admit that they still sin too. So what's the difference in someone who believes in once saved always saved and people who don't? Because it seems to me like they both sin? 🤷‍♀️

22:00 The atheist in your example who is asking “What if God doesn’t really exist?” Is looking for a response which tells him you know that God exists and that your faith has evidence of the things. You are hoping for. The witness of the Spirit, the Spirit inhabiting you after you were born-again, while subjective, is something that you have. The Spirit is the down payment, the deposit which gives you the foretaste (Hebrews 6:5) by way of an experience which informs and convinces at least you, that you have not followed mere fables or myths, but are in fact a reality of substance inside of you. Pointing to love, joy, peace and righteous living is pointing to evidence of the Kingdom of God (Romans 14:17). Likewise, while apologetics appeals to arguments of the mind, the power of the Spirit, when God permits, will be displayed as a convincing witness as well (Acts 5:32, Romans 15:19, 2 Cor 2:5, 1 Cor 4:20).

Interesting you mention that. I actually am feeling led to do a teaching on that so maybe soon. But basically grace according to Titus 2 teaches us to renounce ungodliness.
      Titus 2:11-14
For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works.
And we see that according to Paul you can receive the grace of God in vain for not cooperating in this process -
      2 Corinthians 6:1
Working together with him, then, we appeal to you not to receive the grace of God in vain.
And also he says we can be cut off from grace and fall from grace -
      Galatians 5:4
You are severed from Christ, you who would be justified by the law; you have fallen away from grace.

@@julieamos86 yes if we try to go back under the Mosiac law we will be cut off from Christ. But people get so confused with the Mosiac law and the commands of Jesus. They take the verses that say we are no longer under the Old Testament law and say that we don’t have to obey Jesus. Unfortunately this is to their detriment. Just keep reading on to Galatians 5 and 6. Paul makes it clear we must obey Jesus to interit eternal life.
      Galatians 5:19-21
Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
      Galatians 6:7-9
Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. If God says, "You shall not steal" and "You shall not commit adultery," then it would also mean that He Himself doesn't steal nor commits adultery. God doesn't do anything that He said to people to not do in the ten Commandments EXCEPT KILLING. Why is it so? Or, are we misunderstanding the concept of God killing? Jesus said that if anyone lusts over a woman, he has committed adultery in his heart. That shows the character of God. God doesn't do that.
But Jesus also said that whoever is ANGRY with his brother is like a murderer. Then how could God be angry? Are we misunderstanding the concept of the wrath of God? If wrath is also found in God's character, then why is it not found in the fruit of the Spirit? Why is wrath a work of the flesh?

    • @abideintheWord
      @abideintheWord  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Two things. I would say that God doesn’t “murder” people. There is a difference between taking someone’s life and murdering them. He created life, and He can take it away.
But even if He did, He would be just in doing so. Think about it this way - when you were a child there were some things your parents could do that you COULD NEVER do - drive a car, but a beer, etc. And there were also some things that you couldn’t do that your parents WOULD NEVER do - rob a bank for example. Now this doesn’t make your parents hypocrites for telling you not to drive drive a car when they do. God created the universe and He can do as He pleases. He has perfect justice, perfect wrath and perfect judgement. We however do NOT.
I am personally fine with God being sovereign. It comes down to trust. Do you trust Him that He knows best? Or do you think that you know better than Him? Will you trust Him? God bless.

@@abideintheWord Ok. Also, God is the Judge. In our societies, we have law that prohibits murder. If someone murders, he will be punished and the punishment may even be death sentence. So, when the person is hung, it won't be considered as a crime done by the Judge. Thank you for the explanation, Sir.
I am a Pastor. I am from the background of OSAS (not calvinist but free grace ones). I preached that God doesn't kill. He has never killed any man. And I had a way to explain those verses that talk about God killing and destroying. The good works are for reward, which is God commending us (1Cor.3:15; 4:5). The effect of His commendation will remain forever. That's what I had been teaching.
Before that, I believed that one can lose salvation only by renouncing Christ as the Saviour. No other sins can make you lose your salvation. Then, from the fall of 2017, I got into OSAS. But, from the beginning of March 2022, I am so troubled in my heart. I started to doubt in the doctrine I have held on to for so long. I have stopped preaching in the church, Sir. I have handed the work of preaching to others. And I don't have the strength to teach anything now. So many people have been following my teachings in different parts of India. But I am so afraid now. After two weeks of my wrestling with the doctrine of OSAS, I came across a youtube channel called Eternal Call, through whom I came across David Pawson. And someone in a comment recommended me your channel too along with two others.
I am searching for truth. My heart is not at rest. I have watched few teachings by people like John McArthur, Justin Peters, Paul Washers for the first time. Then, I have seen some of the important things in your as well as in David Pawson's messages and saw the differences between calvinism and arminianism.
I am reading the bible like never before. But, I am yet to be settled in this most vital doctrine of Christianity. I have so many questions in my mind. I have several bible verses that I can explain to defend OSAS. I can also explain many verses that are quoted to refute OSAS. So, I am looking for all those explanations. There's no rest in my heart. Please pray for me that the eyes of my understanding may be enlightened by the Holy Spirit. Thank you, Sir.

Christ was counted as a worm and not a man. Real Christians are the opposite of narcissists, people that would come across as comically weak to many who are not believers. However, though, are weakness being really super-human strength, as man was not made to be a God but to serve God.

Of course true believers can fall away and spiritually die, and of course they can come back. Read the chapter of Luke 15, Jesus tells several parables of this very thing!

So are you saying that you are perfect and sinless? Because the Bible says that no one can go without sin and doesn’t sin and if he does say this then the truth is not in him and he is a liar. I watched a couple of your videos and you should be careful because you could get a lot of people to lose hope and fall away from God! Because things you say and as you describe you make everyone Doomed for hell and not one person has a chance of salvation ! May God bless you !

@@abideintheWord yes I do. But I also know no man is perfect not one, there has only been one man that was perfect and that was Jesus, man was born into sin because of Adam and Eve but according to to what you are saying is one sin it’s too late for you and you are doomed for hell if what you say is true Nobody has a chance of salvation we are all doomed and not one person will see the kingdom of heaven, but from what I understood was that in John 3:16 was that For God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten son that who ever believes in him shall not parish but have ever lasting life 3:17 For God did not send his son into condemn the world but that the world through him might be saved. 3:18 He who believes in Him is not condemned;but he who does not believe is condemned already because he did not believe in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John1 1:8 If we say we do not have sin we deceive ourselves, and the truth is NOT in us. If we confess our Sins He is Faithful and just to FORGIVE us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, John1 2 My Little children these things I write to you so that you May Not sin And if anyone sins, we have an advocate with the Father , Jesus Christ the righteous. And he himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world. I don’t want others to think that they might as well just give up their FAITH. And turn away from Our God who does love us very much so, you say what you want and do as you please Matthew 18:6 And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me. “If anyone causes one of these little ones-those who believe in me-to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.
I believe we serve a loving and Forgiving Father (God) who loves his children and will chasten his children. Will continue to correct his children and not just condemn them to eternal Death

@@johnboston3303 so let’s put perfect out of the vocabulary for a minute. Let’s just forget about that word completely. Do you believe a person can be faithful to the Lord? I see this is what the Bible calls us to, commands of us, and demands of us. So just think about it in those terms, can you be faithful to God? If the answer is yes, do you believe you can be faithful in all things?

Paul is talking of the wicked judaizers. And I’ll tell you this, if you preach that a person must work to maintain their salvation in Christ, then you are an enemy of the cross.

    • @abideintheWord
      @abideintheWord  ปีที่แล้ว +1

Have you even read where the term enemies of the cross comes from? It comes from Philippians and Paul is actually saying the exact OPPOSITE. The enemies of the cross of Christ are those who walk according to their own appetites and lusts and have their minds set on worldly things - you know… SIN!!!
“For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame-who set their mind on earthly things.”
      ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭3‬:‭18‬-‭19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
You might want to go carefully study this passage.

Is this an excuse for everyone to quit their jobs? Watchout economy!

    • @abideintheWord
      @abideintheWord  ปีที่แล้ว +2

Do you really believe there are enough people with enough faith who would quit their jobs to the point it would crash the economy? I think not. Jesus says when He returns will He find faith on earth?
“I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?””
      ‭‭Luke‬ ‭18:8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
But Jesus told the rich young ruler to sell everything. And he went away sad because he had lots of possessions and didn’t inherit eternal life. Is this you? I hope not.
Now there were also people in the Bible who had jobs and supported Jesus’ ministry. We must be led by the Spirit.

Repentance is works salvation. See Jonah 3:10. I agree with you on loss of salvation and the post trib rapture.
Yet, repentance is not part of the Gospel. John 3:15-18. Only unbelief condemns. John 16:8-9. Judas repented and still went to hell. Repenting too much sends you to hell. You are definitely teaming up with Gregory Miller, Bryan Denlinger, Jimmy Miller (not me, but from Eternal Evangelism), James Polanek, Nate Marino, the Pope, Giancarlo Rodriguez, Mick Alexander, Todd Tomasella, John Chiapetta, John Moore, John McClure, Charles Lawson, David Cloud, Ray Comfort, Kerrigan Skelly, Jesse Morell, Joshua Joscelyn, Paul Washer, Dan Corner and Brian Moonan.

"Do not love the world or the things in the world" seems very nihilistic to me, and also contradicts things written earlier in the Bible. The world is our home, which God created for us, and the things of it, for us to live with. What then is the point of life, if only to escape from it ?

    • @abideintheWord
      @abideintheWord  3 ปีที่แล้ว

You are calling the words of the Bible “nihilistic”. I think you definitely should rethink that.
The point of our life is to glorify God and as Solomon said -
      Ecclesiastes 12:13-14
The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether good or evil.
The whole duty of man is keeping God’s commands and fearing God. You could also say it’s to love God with all your heart mind soul and strength and love your neighbor as yourself because to love God is to obey Him and keep His commands.
