@@pascalecourrieu8535 I just looked into this - it seems like if you are editing a sample set, you need to hit the 'Save New Preset' button in order for that specific sample set to save...kinda annoying but that has been working for me. Have you been able to add your own samples to the folder in the finder window? Let me know if that works!
Yes i've been able to add samples to the folder and even select them in my new "test" sampler pack in Djay. They just don't stay there. If I go to another package and come back to my "test" package, the samples I added are not there anymore, it came back to the original MS package.@@timmygtunes
Ok got it sorted. You have to indeed click "save new preset" which is going to record the sample in a new preset and not in the one you thought you were editing. If that makes sense to anyone....:-)

I add my sample folder with their sample folders, then reboot DJ Pro 2. Then It tells me DJ Pro 2 is damaged, then I have to download DJ Pro 2 again. I didn't work how you explained it.
@@timmygtunes it wud have been nice to know u can only transfer 1 file at a time b4 trying to load a folder. my djay pro app jus messed all the way up and i had to re download erything...i hope i dont have to re cue all those songs again. but thanks anyway
is there any way to cheat the rules and make a sample from a spotify song? does it work if you buy the song and put it though itunes? your channel is awesome! im grateful. you are a really good teacher.
There's almost always a cheat ;) You can't do it through the software though, you'd need to do it through a DAW. You would basically need to record the sample in the DAW and then you could edit it in there.
Great question - I don't think that there is a master FX option in the software, but if your controller has hardware FX (my DDJ1000 does) then the samples should be able to be effected!

@@djtkay_musicc Hmmm, I actually thought you were talking about the laptop software. I only have DJay for my small iPhone and it only shows me 8 samples. Did you change that in the settings?

Yes, if you go to preferences and then go to keyboard shortcuts you can configure any of your keys just like you are configuring a DJ controller!
The elephant in the room is still volume control for individual samples.

Do you put a folder in the sample folder? I think it only works if you put individual samples.

is there a way to loop samples? e.g. have them hit every 4th beat
I'm actually not sure. I don't think so though. My best fix to that would be keep a loop on the 3rd or 4th deck.

Hmm, how did you add them? Sometimes the samples presets can be finicky and you need to try doing it a couple of times before it works.

Yes! That is definitely one of the shortcomings of this software. What software do you use? I'm assuming it is DVS capable.
TimmyG Official I use Traktor and Serato and Produce in Ableton. Yes VST and Ableton link will make this software unbeatable!!
