There is quite a bit of music that I don't like, but Dan draws my attention to listen to it. It is not only his voice that is nicer to listen to, but also his passion that he sings with. Glad you're back with Dan and Violet! Dan did a solo version of this back in 2014, when he says he was just doing TH-cam as a hobby. This newer version shows what a musical genius he's developed into. He says that he hears metal versions of songs in his head, and he has the musical knowledge and the chops to transform that imagined version into reality with his singing (and Violet's too, in this case), arranging, and editing. IMO this is a great upgrade of what was already a great song, with two fantastic voices and Victor adding his own magic. Thanks, as always, for the wonderful reaction! It's great to see the genuine pleasure you experienced with this terrific video.

My favourite Dan Vasc cover, and that’s saying something. And I was never an intense fan of this song. I thought it was pretty and I liked it a lot but these two do such a great job on it. Violet has one of the most beautiful Alto voices I’ve ever heard. Such a pleasure to listen to both of them. And Victor, of course.
I love Seal's original version of this song, but now also love both Dan's older solo version and this duet w/Violet, which are fantastic. The metal version took this song to a whole new level, though. Seeing Dan & Victor in black dress clothes is an added treat. All 3 looked & sounded wonderful. I have seen Rick talk to musicians outside of America and England such as El Esteppario (Spain) but I think this flies under his radar. Since he doesn't 'react' I don't know how he would find Dan and friends. His loss! ❤️🤘
@@BemusingBill Well, he did do some "reactions" to the Spotify Top 10 and the Metal Top Ten (a curated list) and when Rick got to Sabaton and Epica, he moved along in seconds with a nice vocals, choosing instead to dwell for long excruciating minutes on poorly produced trash some metal elitist hipster had saturated the list with. That plus the lack of artists from the rest of the world in his song list got him pegged as an hostile gatekeeper in my book. Might be unfair but then, there's so many hours in the day 😉😉🤘
