Japan make an epic comeback! It's hard to make a comeback when your opponent is up 2 sets but the Japanese had a great composure to win the match. The Defense was the key for Japan. I loved Koga for Japan and also Stysiak of Poland for amazing performance! Great job Girls see you next week!!!!
I really love the defense of Japan, they're not that very tall but they know how to execute the ball properly

Japan has a higher chance of winning if you’re up against them on a 5 setter match. Their stamina is impeccable
Very true. Watching them play taught me to relax 😄😄😄. Japan is my sentimental favorite. Whenever they're pinned down, I just know that they will not go down without giving their opponents a hard time.

Its hard enough to make come back when you down 2 sets with majority of your players still young, but this young team of Japan has proven it. They really have a strong mentality. Japanese volleyball future is bright!

If you can finish it as early as 3 sets, do it immediately. Once you reach the 5th set, good luck if you will win. Japan will wear any opponent out with their terrific defense. 🇯🇵🇯🇵

@@tatatakino after Olympics I think Nagaoka will retired since she's already 30y and her form is not the same as in the past (as you see, she isn't first 6 or even substitute) i think Kumi just wants to let her play in the Olympics for her last tournament. And then i think not only Nagaoka, but Araki also (maybe Ishii, or some of their players that's already 30y+) Then when they call up new player i also hope to see Haruna Soka, too.

At first 2 sets, the defending team can bully Japan team, but at third set they became complacent, they didn't know that Japan team's training is so hard that they can endure up to fifth set without getting exhausted.

Japan has okay offense, but their defense and ball control are GODLY! I bet any teams that plays against them probably have a talk before the match saying "Okay, we all know rallies are going to be long for each point so who wants to use up your endurance against them? Because you're going to get tired playing against them". lol

Finally, Poland stopped making Stysiak as an open hitter happen. It's sad that they have two excellent opposites (her and Smarzek) and so-so open hitters.
