I had the great fortune of actually meeting this guy today. He parked the Xpeng G9 outside my house. Obviously, I got out, and not only does this guy make excellent videos, he's actually a very nice person as well. He invited me to sit in the car, and I immediately fell in love with this car. We don't know, we don't know?? The Xpeng G9s which until now have been reviewed have all been prototypes and could very well be mockups, which are meant to help Xpeng raise some money from investors. With Xpeng all seems quite mysterious, sorry.

Very nice car. good presentation! The only one with illustration of the outside speakers which should reduce the noise of wheels contact with the ground... You unfortunately did not show the trailer hook! Yes, there is a nice automatic trailer hook available... Yes, Xpeng is generous... Unfortunately, they do not make trailers for now so one is not delivered with the car... Does it have the inflatable bed in the trunk?
Xpeng is the best EV on the market but xpeng has the worst marketing program. THEY DON'T KNOW how to sell it. They woukd have problems selling gold. We made gold with water on the mind!
Very interesting video. I have a G9, it is really a good car. I am surprised that you like the brand name "XiaoPeng". In China, most people don't like the name, because "Xiao" means small in Chinese. Chinese people don't think "Small" is a good letter in a brand name
Great review! Does the panaromic roof have a sunshade option or the chromatic shading option? At 17:58; you mentioned the sun was too bright in the front but it looks fine from the glass roof.

@@YBCTR they can have v4 or v10 charging station. if the battery can only take 250kwh then it will only take 250 i would assume. otherwise the battery probably catch fire lol
But you need dedicated supercharging stations such as Xpeng S4 supercharging station and the 4C battery version of G9 to achieve that (>300kw). My G9 is 3C battery version, I got maximum 250kw charging speed on some of the S4 supercharging stations in Shanghai and Nanjing. But S4 supercharging stations are rare at the moment, most of the Xpeng charging stations are old S2 ones. On S2 charging stations, I normally get 120kw - 170kw. This is the real life performance.
It is very nice, just a bit small for a flag ship model though. The G9 can do 480kw peak charging on xPeng latest super charger. however,, in china it is not that important as the availability of not-so-fast rapid chargers everywhere make people care less about charging speed.
@@YBCTR for flagship suv,it needs to be 5.2m+, like the X7 or GLS. when i saw G9 for the first, i seriously thought i mistook it as G9 cause it was quite smaller than i expected.
Thank you for the info. The VW investment is very nice vote of trust from an auto leader who could really benefit from XPENG technologies and capabilities. Unfortunately, the 60% increase in stock value from this news couldn’t even last three weeks. The most recent June sales number for XPENG was barely 1.5% of the China’s NEV sales for the month. The car is great on paper and in terms of first driving impression. It will take more time to set foot in europe. The durability, realibility, and service quality are yet unknown. Moreover, there are like 3 service points in this country for such a high tech car. The price tag is ok but not wild enough to serve as a guinea pig. By the time all this is proven and fixed, the price will jump up.

Oddly enough, they posted another XPeng video a little while back and that also strangely saw higher than normal views, that one got 10k. This is what's called company shareholders / Chinese view bots driving up view counts to get the video recommended and advertise the company's cars in Europe. Why are people not talking more about this? Probably because if Europeans buy this, then it'll lead to layoffs at European OEMs, cause a trade deficit. XPeng, like all companies building cars in China, utilizes cheap Chinese labor and terrible environmental regulations to pump up their corporate profits... leading to a transfer of wealth upwards from customer (who are paying full price according to the wealthier European market) to executives / shareholders.... instead of a larger chunk of that money going to laborers.. .on account of those laborers being paid a fraction of what Europeans are.
