Live plane spotting from Manchester, UK. Live streaming from the Runway Visitor Park, Manchester Airport. Currently using dual runway ops at MAN, catching landings and take offs on two separate runways. The second busiest of the airports in the UK behind London Heathrow (LHR). The flaps on the nose gear say “ew” and I can’t stop cracking up about that!

@@robertoprimordial2633right above the nose gear. The small flaps that allow the gears to come down have some sort of initial. It happens to E-W on it.
@@HarkinTheSkunk It's actually part of the aircraft's registration number. You can see the complete registration number near its tail just after it takes off.
No matter how many times I see a plane takeoff it's still like Magic to me like how is that even possible? and that's even with being an aviation nerd for 30 years now and knowing how flight is achieved.. knowing how doesn't diminish how indescribably amazing it is..even getting something that weighs 1000 pounds 35.000 feet in the air and moving at 550mph is amazing but 1.4 million pound.. no words to describe anywhere near how much that amazes me, even at 38 me not knowing a world without Aircraft so if someone from the 16th or even 19th century I'm curious what they'd think seeing a plane.. especially before the 18th century

This is actually the most beautiful A380 in the world right now, but not the most beautiful aircraft in the world. The most beautiful Aircraft in the world is the following:
PITCH BLUE Southwest Airlines (with white southwest logo across the cabin, which I don't like that logo, I just like the rest of the background, and I don't like the Southwest Airlines that are red on the bottom, they look kind of ugly, I am sorry to say, I like the pitch blue ones better.)
ALL BLACK Air New Zealand aircraft of any type!

Back in the day when I worked for Eastern Airlines, I read about a study done on EALs paint schemes. When EAL used a lot of white and aquamarine paint, it was discovered that by eliminating just the white paint and less aquamarine, each jet would save several hundred thousand dollars each year in operating costs. It's why before Eastern went bankrupt, the jets were mostly metallic in color and just an aquamarine logo.

Dubai is so hot I wouldn’t want to live there. The weather is only nice probably 3 months if the year. I don’t know what the big hype is all about. It’s a dessert with glass buildings and man made stuff on it
