  • In this video I show you how to use the eBay app to very quickly list items to sell. Aimed at beginners or those needing a step by step I have included screenshots of each of the things you will need to do to get up and selling on eBay. I hope you enjoy this and if you have other things you'd like me to explain please just pop a comment below. I'm not the greatest at editing so I hope this is understandable.
    If it has value please subscribe to the channel and share it.

    You're really commenting about my 2$ finds? That would have been my judo response. And i just listen because i like your voice and this is a healthy space while i do my listings.

      @@geelong-flipper it's a long arduous road to contentment for many and some will never get there because they don't get it. Generosity and kindness is always the way. I think sometimes these people aren't well read and their world is very small. So pity for them.

    I have $2 finds all the time - it's the way I operate. I still manage to make $200-$300 a week on those $2 items and that will do me! Everyone's story/journey is different.

    As someone else has said try using the SKU section when doing a listing, it comes up on your sold items when picking orders and gives you more characters free for the title :)

      Thanks, brother. I’m going to look into it. That would be a super good help. I need to see a screenshot of what that looks like particularly when a sale goes through as I don’t want to have to hunt for my tub location.

    I think you are good we all got to start somewhere $2 profit is better than nothing I have learnt a lot from you about books I get excited when I sell something. Would like for you to go into more detail into international selling and shipping. I bought a $5 item which sold for $150 got great feedback. I charge for shipping as well and also don’t do Auctions either. Keep up the good work you keep it real. Cheers Tricia.

      Thank you so very much, Tricia. I appreciate you, I will cover international selling for you. In fact I’ll make a note of it right now. It may not be the next show I do but expect it to happen. Well done on that sale that is amazing and I’m sure more than well deserved.

    I sell for charity - if I can raise some funds, I can support those who need help. My time is mine to spend how I wish. So if I can make $3 on a sale, that’s good news for me! Not everyone who is selling on eBay needs to make $20 per sale, so I can share your interest in the small wins 🙂

    I use the SKU - too add information. Buyer doesn’t see it. So you can add notes which bucket etc and even what you paid for it

    Thanks for this video. I would be happy just making a few dollars as it all adds up so I’m not sure why that person commented like that. Do you do promoted listings on all your items and are they at that high rate of 12.5% please? Not sure about this as it was never around when I used to sell. I liked your tip about not putting in an offer price, I have that on mine so will get rid of that now.

  • @emusaurus

    For me, barcode scanner only seems to yield results 1% of the time. Image search about 80%. Handy if you've got figurines where you're like, wtf is that thing?
    Agreed, nobody likes auctions. Attention spans are short now.
    Are you able to see who unsubscribed? Always been curious.

    I have paid anywhere from free to hundreds of dollars to flip something. My best yet was a $2 book into $1400. No matter how 'big' you 'think' you are, you should never discount the small things. Thats arrogance. You can always learn from another, no matter what they sell. I enjoy your videos although I will say...be careful of the Dr Seuss (banned) books on ebay. If too many report you, it can get you restricted. Especially if you continue to list. 😊

    • @geelong-flipper
      @geelong-flipper  19 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I hear that and banned probably is not the right word. The estate has simply said they’re no longer being produced so maybe out of print is a better term.

    • @rubywillow76
      @rubywillow76 19 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @geelong-flipper probably not but I sold them when they were first flagged for offensive imagery. Made quite a few $s before ebay removed them and sent a warning. It wasn't worth the risk to my account to keep listing them so I don't even buy if I see them.
