Can anyone tell me why every template I download on my PC is out of sync, larger than the resolution it was created in and with all the settings out of place, how can I fix this?
Looks great, but everyhting I'm seeing about Aida64 says it's an annual subscription software, which makes this quite a bit more expensive. Unless I'm missing something?
If you have a cpu with built in graphics as well as a graphic card, you can enable the MB HDMI output for a secondary monitor. You could then get the (horizontal) MB HDMI socket resoldered with a Verticle HDMI socket. Saves cables needing to go outside of case, and taking up a graphic card socket.
This is the kind of content that I think we all can get behind. Custom PCs are awesome and learning how to customize them even more is a really sick idea and lots of this information is super useful.
@@af01waco I didn't even know that. So that, as well as not wanting to lose my mouse cursor on a secondary display pretty much make AIDA64 a non-starter. Thanks!

Great, detailed video, thank you. It could be a bit shorter, but I understand that you wanted to provide detailed guidance. It really looks cool in a transparent/window case. I use, since many years, a Rainmeter programme which allows exactly the same futures on your screen and no need for any hardware. However, I can understand that having a separate device in the case gives the overview on parameters anytime without minimising any window, moving away or leaving a gap on screen to see the actual parameters. Again, great idea, thanks.
I have the same case as him. But I realised after I bought the same 7in screen my noctua heat sink kinda blocks my view ❌. So I am thinking maybe hot glue but still trying to work out which version of AIDA64 I need. Their are like 5 different versions and I have no idea which one I need. Might have to watch J’s video to see if he talked about it.
Use some e8000 (or e7000? Whichever is better for glass) adhesive. It should be enough to hold up the panel, just make sure you give it enough time to cure. Should be heat resistant enough as well
Same case, good to know this is a 2 second mod. You have saved me a ton of time with getting the right screen. Had looked at this as an idea but never committed. Might actually give this a go now. Gonna have to work out a new exhaust fan area though.
I made mine a to sit on my desk top as my PC is a full tower and on the ground under my desk. I made a frame for the 7" lcd out of black Plexiglass with standoff's for the lcd mounting tabs to screw too.
There is alternatives, but I found them all pretty disappointing, even without comparing them to Aida64. If your Aida license is expired your panel's will continue to function though.
you could put HW monitor, Afterburner on it or other alternatives, You can get 3 pc's for $40 if you find other people that want it. I have the engineer version and even when it expires everything works( its from work and they always forget to renew it)
Something that neither You or Jay mention is that AIDA64 needs a license ($39) otherwise your panel shows some of the graphs and gauges with a "TRIAL" on them! Or can you remove that without purchasing a license?!

When I installed Aida64 and click "Show Sensor Panel" it changes my Fan Speed, they speed up really fast then go back to normal as if it is throttling and it keeps repeating itself. When I close the program it is fine. Not sure why this is happening?
Question. You said when hooking up the usb power, to either run it to the back to a usb port, or use a micro usb to usb 2.0 internal header. Why does it have to be usb "2.0" header? Cant I just use a micro usb to usb 5-pin internal header since its just used for power? Or is that what you meant and the "2.0" part just accidentally/naturally slipped off the tip of your tongue?
