I love you guys!! I have been watching your videos for about a year now, while recovering from a sesamoid break in my toe. I’m really glad you make these videos. Thank you so much! ❤️
This is sooo helpful! I've owned several foam rollers..and a massage gun...(which IMO is overrated). Using the balls feels way more targeted and precise
I just now found this video. Started with tennis balls years ago thanks to my Mom's suggestion. She plays tennis and always has many. I've been doing this with a baseball for the past couple years. Got really hardcore with it in the past year and it has been extremely helpful in losing 40lbs since March 2020. I used a back injury from running to do very little exercise and eat horribly for 3-4 years. I broke my femur 23 years ago and one leg is slightly longer than the other. Broken arms, both elbows. Shoulder injuries and now frozen shoulder. Been trying to fix this broken body since Covid. I now basically train a triathlon regimine amd have recentlyn Jan 1, 2021 stated running again. I have also recently started to get into calisthenics. Anyway, the baseball massage allows me to push through pain of workout. Without it, I am not sure I could get through the pain. I can do my legs, back, shoulders, glutes, sciatic, everything. Its really awesome. I'm addicted. I hope thats not bad. In fact, I'm on the floor rolling around on my baseball now... 😅😅😅 Good video guys!!!
Great info, guys! I was disappointed to see that you didn't cover lower back and sacrum. I use a soft, inflatable, nubby rubber ball and also a pair of softball-sized firm foam balls for that. I'd love to see your take on massage ball therapy for lower back, sacrum, pelvic, SI joint and IT band tightness and pain.
I will be singing your theme song when I’m at work. People look at me like who the hell is Bob and Brad. LOL then I have to sing the entire song for them.
As a massage therapist, I try to show everyone stuff like this, but it doesn’t replace human touch and hardly anyone’s gonna relax for an entire hour alone with a ball . Pain attention decrease all over the body when we relax.
It would be nice if you’d give adaptation for people who are NOT athletes. Some people can’t get down on the ground or support their weight with their arms effectively in order to do these. It is possible to use the wall for most of them-which also gives more control over the ball and depth of the pressure. I get a lot of relief from using a tennis ball and the larger squishy balls against the wall. Thanks for all the tips! (Also, I love my massage therapists and cranial-sacral therapists!!❤)
I’m in a restorative yoga class that uses Various therapy balls , it is awesome I also regularly foam roll and uses a ball on my Shoulders called a tiger ball.
Hey guys thanks for your video. I was wondering if you could talk about posterior labrum pain and what exercises to prevent it to torn if someone is at risk. All the information that i can find are only about anterior labrum. Thanks
Question. Around the 5 minute mark, you massaged the calves. Called to posterior shin splints. I have had anterior shin splints in the past. My calves have been tight and tinder spots for years. I would love to be able to do that. However I have degenerative arthritis in my shoulders. Especially where my clavicle ties in. Makes it nearly impossible to lift my body off the floor when seated in that fashion. Any ideas on how to perform this maneuver without causing shoulder pain? Thanks in advance. And thank you for your videos. Love em.
James Richards get a super ball. Yes like the kind you used to play Jack's with. Use it between your Palm and your calf and press down on it to friction the muscle. You will find all the "good hurt" spots, trust me! I've been doing sports massage for 20 years and my players love/hate that one. Good luck!
The masseuses I have had these past three and a half years, have been fricking awesome!. It has been sad for me that three of the four masseuses that I have had, have left their employer, but my fourth masseuse is as awesome as my previous three!. I use a massage roller stick on my thighs and calves and butt and a foot roller inbetween massages but this requires me to make an effort, which isn't relaxing for me. A one hour upper body and arm massage is what I can afford to spend. Maybe some day soon I could afford to spend for a two hour massage with legs included!, but for the time being, I will use my roller stick for my legs!. To Ania, Elizabeth and Tash~~~I miss all three of you!. To Lucy~~~I am really happy you are my masseuse!.
Amazing video! There is a lot of other massage devices out there, sticks, rollers, etc. I was wondering if you there are any in particular that you recommend?
For me, my rolling pin and lacrosse/massage ball can’t be replaced You kind of have to slowly try different pins and learn what type your body appreciates
Truth is massage is best way to relieve muscular pain..this has been shown by several studies that doctors used to try and get rid of massge... change the title better they get rid of the physical therapist that have 3 people they spend a couple minutes with and charge way more 5han an hour 9fb1 on non massage therapist
Love your videos but a mobility ball will never replace massage therapists. Mobility balls don't listen to how much of a jerk your boss is nor can they traction your leg to release your low back. Massage therapy is much more than friction on people's muscles FYI.
Not sure why you would advertise to put someone out of business. Kidding or not, it’s not in good form. As a massage therapist, my practice is booming…and never has a client come to me saying they were going to choose a theragun or a ball over my hands and expertise. I’m sure there are 100 more effective ways to get your point across without slamming another profession, which truly says more about you than anything else. It leaves me to assume you haven’t experienced the benefit of what an accomplished MT has to offer.
..the two most famous physical therapists, on the internet! Thanks guys!
I love the ball in the sock trick! It was so frustrating to keep from dropping the ball. Plus it helps getting the placement just right.

Bob & Brad I really enjoyed your demonstration much appreciated
Yea these ball exercises work great..hurt like hell sometimes but worth the pain. Thanks
Oh they can hurt very bad, but that also helps me know when I have found the trigger spots.
You two are awesome! Great advice and very entertaining.

Bob: To be honest, I like different ball on different areas.
Brad: Righttt!!!
I will be singing your theme song when I’m at work. People look at me like who the hell is Bob and Brad. LOL then I have to sing the entire song for them.

I like to believe that they said something really out of line or inappropriate at 9:45 so they had to take it out of the final cut 😂
10:37 🙈🤣 nothing but professional ♥️
This is a family show. Loll

gr8rubb27 thanks I'll give that a try.
Very helpful, thank you.
Came for the jingle. Stayed for the pro tips.
Quick question, is it normal for it to hurt when I use the massage balls for my hip flexors because it hurts so bad
Mine do too
love your videos, but please maximize your volume. I ca barely hear you. Thanks

Tune up Fitness by Jill Miller is comprehensive re these techniques...her book is “Roll Model” and she sells the therapy balls in a set. Amazing.

I always get funny looks when i roll out my quads 😄
Jessie B me too. I tell them to get your mind out the gutter.
Bob and Brad: we are going to have people mad at us 😂😁😂😁

Here comes the beat down
Of course critics may say: a lot of balls!
can I replace it with Tennis ball?😀
The thing about a self massage is that it feels more of an exercise than a relaxing session.
I am a massagetherapist, and I have gotten people with a hernia pain free with massage , I do not think a massage ball can do that .😂
I wonder is Bob liked to play basketball as a teenager
Loll you guys are funny.
Nice😅
Finger was hovering over unsubscribe there for a minute!
Lmao it dows look super funny. Humping the mat..hahahhaha
*11:57*
I just take the ball against the wall like this.
Now stretch the IT band and el rata elada

Can I use spiky balls instead ?
Yep will not put us out of business!!
My clients think I get commissions from suggesting MB5 balls

Shuddup
Guess you have irony fail ha ha
Lego blocks for the feet
Ouch
Theragun achilles
Brad is lowkey fine af
These small balls waste times why not just the form rollers 😂
sandra kelly preference. Personally i ferl the small ball can get deeper Nd hit specific spots.
Sometime you just want to target specific spot or muscle in your back. A foam roller covers too much area.
