It’s a beautiful song, I just keep hearing Mecano’s Hijo de la Luna in it (which is awesome, and meant as a compliment). This feels like an Irish version of that song to me (as someone who doesn’t understand a single word of these beautiful Gaelic sounds). The melody, and the feeling though, 1:1, absolutely spot on for me. Lovely reference, and Child of the Moon (what Hijo de la Luna translates to) absolutely fits Cereza’s first adventure IMO.
This version is so beautiful and it’s just Cereza elegantly dancing with her teacher. Why is it so much better then “let’s dance baby!” Young Cereza had more dance moves than her older self.

I see a wild cat, a magic kitten Hesitation is growing in my heart Far from my family, left alone Mysterious feeling coming and going Is my companion friend or foe? Can I find the power that is within me? What ia that thing in the tangled undergrowth Monster or ghost, unnatural faerie? In the deep of night, shining moon
A strange, mysterious feeling, dark, ancient
Lost and weary, alone and lonely
Fear growing in my heart
What is that thing in the branches

I see a wild cat, a magic kitten
Hesitation is growing in my heart
Far from my family, left alone
Mysterious feeling coming and going
Is my companion friend or foe?
Can I find the power that is within me?
What ia that thing in the tangled undergrowth
Monster or ghost, unnatural faerie?

Confidence growing in my heart
In the woods, scattering the dew

Side by side, allied together
I am not left alone
Struggling with the world, struggling together
Mysterious feeling coming and going
I feel a storm becoming much worse
I feel the power within becoming greater
In the deep of the night, shining moon
Friend of my heart, wild kitten
Anxiety fleeing, fleeing
I am not left alone
The wind whistles under the shimmering stars
I am not left alone
Left alone
Far from my family, I was alone
Mysterious feeling coming and going
But because of our parting from each other
I feel the sadness within me increasing
Far from my family
In the woods I will be left alone
Lost within my heart
The tears fall
The small part of my ancestry that is Irish is very happy right now. :)
