This week looks like it's going to be a really good one.
Honestly, after listening to Monstercat for 2+ years I'd have to say he the best on Monstercat. He's good for brostep, don't get me wrong, but there isn't a lot to his music. It's very formulaic (Build up, drop, come back, somewhat change in second drop over previous melody). He's good, but in my personal opinion he is quite generic and has been known to copy styles (see Savant).
Just my two cents anyway.

I still listen to electro house and some dubstep .... I don’t listen to dubstep as often .... that virtual riot melodic style is long gone.. it’s more about the club like style tracks now.

I honestly don't see why people are hating this track I think it's sweet.
I can guarantee had PBN made this track the majority of people who are hating on it would have loved it, but because it's Razihel everyone decides to get judgmental as fuck when the track isn't anywhere near as bad as they are saying.
Also, considering the detail in this track and admin time to process the track for a release and stuff (although it's free so that time is lessened), there's a good chance Razihel might have started work on this before Here It Comes came out. But a lot of producers and write tracks as high a level as these in as little as two weeks to a month, so I wouldn't be surprised if I was wrong.
This song sounds alot like here it comes, if you hadn't noticed.

I was so fucking hyped for Razihel. I don't think I've ever anticipated a release like I have with this one. And holy shit it delivered on my prayers. It reminded me why Razihel was my favorite at one point. The next time I do a dubstep mix or something, this song is a shoe in. The big room elements are awesome, and don't leave the song feeling empty which big room sounds often do. The sound design is among my favorite ever; It's Razihel so I expected that. Razihel marry me right fucking now.
Haywyre with more glitch hop....I love Haywyre to death, but I want something else BESIDES glitch hop from him. I'm not saying his glitch hop isn't good, it's absolutely kick-ass, but I want to see electro, or hell even drum and bass.

Anyway, this release wasn't that great in my opinion, but I won't try to violently force that down your throat.
FrozenPoptartMC Fixed them. When people combine big room elements with another genre, I think it sounds really good almost all of the time. Big room by itself is bad to me, but when it has a baby with dubstep or something...prepare your anus.

"Free Music Friday" is HERE!!!! And this one is EPIC!! The catchy tune and beats and vocal sounds are incredible. This song imo deserves to be on a best of dubstep playlist somewhere. Razihel has finally showed up on 018. Even though it's free here, I checked on the music store and it was 99 cents. This means that this song will be included along with the other tracks on 018 as well as Prism. The hero remix by stonebank was not available in online stores and was not on 017. This is a guess, they may not include the free tracks but i hope they do. Razihel has one of the best styles here on monstercat. He can give us all these epic sounds. This drop just amazed me on the podcast. I'm so glad to see razihel again here on monstercat.
Haywyre returns from his epic LP from 017 and just gets a track in as the 018 days are winding down. It's glitch hop... and haywyre's name is in it... I feel pretty good about this release. I think it will be better than The Schism and Doppelganger. We needed haywyre on 018 with his glitch hop tracks and we got him! Cannot wait for monday. Also, i think monstercat will announce the album name & art VERY soon! We never know when the end of 018 is until we see when they give it a name. They announced 017 about a week before they finished up the last track. One more thing... NO DRUM AND BASS YET?!?! Srsly D&b is a classic genre on monstercat and we still have none on 018. I NEED DRUM & BASS!!!! I love that genre. 017 had some epic songs like Frame of Mind & Don't Forget, and DROPTEK made a D&B song! I hope for some more songs on 018 before it comes out!

This song is pretty good! I love the vocal cuts and the piano intro. Though the build up is REALLY generic, I've been waiting for another awesome track by Razhiel and this fufills it enough. The one instrumental part was nice and kinda reminded me of Rewel for soem reason. Maybe just because of the instrumentals and dubstep in Rewel. The drops were pretty hardcore which was cool. And also, HAYWYRE! Does this mean 018 is still going or what? Anyway I LOVED the preview on the last podcast and can't wait! I hope this is also the start of Two Fold Pt. 2.
