Logically hw shouldn't have evem beat gil. Plot armor beat him. Gil coulda just put on his armor and his arm would have been fine. Gil wouldn't lose it like he did in jis fight with emiya. Hes too collected ans powerful foe that. He also logically usea EA because od his own statements od when he would use it. The entire situation was plot armor

@@alexbabcock6166I think masters influence servants in some ways. When Gil was with Tokiomi, he was very polite and level-headed, despite being prideful. When he went to Kirei, he became more unhinged but still 'adult' enough to not get in trouble. Being subordinated (formally) to Shinji probably decreased available mana to Gilgamesh. He became more like a 'young adult', about 20ish in appearance and demeanor. But yeah, plot armor. I agree.
