Agreed :) and the stuttering is most likely due to adhd because we will a lot of the time be having so many thoughts going on that we sometimes need a pause to sort them out. For people with adhd it’s harder to construct sentences so we will sometimes use a crutch word/phrase or move onto a different subject when we get distracted. Sorry for the mental health lesson but I thought you might like to know :))
@@MB-lo7vb very true. i have ADHD, ADD, social anxiety and Glossophobia (phobia of public speaking) so i stutter and change subjects SO MUCH, which makes it really hard for me to socialise with others. i have large detachment issues as well, so when i’m separated from my best friend who i’ve known for about 7 years that means when i talk to other people i’m worrying about her whilst worrying about making a good impression on whoever i’m talking to, which causes me to stutter and just stop what i’m saying for long periods of time.
@Charmy Creations ADHD is not all hyper which most media portrayals of adhd make it seem, there’s many different aspects of it like- rapid mood swings, getting hyper for a short period of time then come crashing down(like a sugar high with no sugar), having a lot of trouble focusing on things that don’t interest you, or the opposite to that(hyper fixation) when you focus so much on one specific thing that you could forget to do basic hygiene and other stuff, fidgeting all the time(could also help you focus and be the reason for the figet), Sensory issues, and impulsiveness- so I cant diagnose you because I’m not a professional (only a few years older than you lol) and these can also be other mental health related things, but if a lot of these symptoms apply to you then I’d recommend talking to a psychologist or doctor

@@jaymm1364 I promise you. ADHD is not a support as you put it. You can NEVER sit still. No matter where you are you have to be fidgeting. Case to case it’s different. Not everyone experiences the same symptoms, and not everyone experiences all the symptoms. For me it feels more like spacing out than “catching every detail.” There are some benefits to a mind that works like that. But they are usually very niche and in the grand scheme: it is a burden.
Dream: “Math is difficult” Also Dream: CODE Edit: (for the people in the comments I’m talking about a coding language I personally learned when coding although it may not be the same to what dream learned, this was just a dumb joke)
Coding doesn't have to be mathematical. That's mostly if you're coding geometric stuff or a render engine or stuff. You don't need to know 1+1 in HTML.
I mean... maths does help because you'd be familiar with the problem solving mindset but it's not a requirement. If anything, it was the other way around - I only got good at maths as a result of learning to code.
@@ProjectPowerPoint What i learned from my years coding is that you need to think logical for problem solving and things like that. I would say math is optional. You get better at it with time when you code but you dont need that when you want to start coding. Do you know what i mean xD

“and you know walking and crap” that’s the one thing i hate about school, and for good reason, basically when i was really young my brain basically didn’t function normally as everyone else’s and ended up sending incorrect signals to my legs which made me walk wrong and now as on 7th grade still affects me today with amounts of pain when walking correctly. i’ve seen doctors across the united states and 1 finally found the issue and i started doing physical therapy. i am still working on being able to have no pain by the time i’m in high school.
I don't have something but I just get random pains and it's gotten to the point always walking around school and stuff that I just don't realize my pain is a problem until someone else is like "hey. You keep wincing are you ok?" And then I'll think and be like "oh. No, actually. I'm in pain." Really casually which concerns my friends at first until they get used to it too

This is exactly me. My books were full of drawings, and my teachers constantly made negative comments about it. It’s infuriating that I got diagnosed at 19. But still, they shouldn’t make negative comments about it, even if it was a neurotypical child...
Not all adhd is about distractibility if that's all it was, you wouldn't be diagnosed with ADHD. It's more than that. It's severe deficiency in executive functioning and possibly memory, slight problem in social interaction (not enough to be autism but still slight) and a bunch of other things.

did you know adhd is more of a support then a problem because adhd makes you catch every detail but you pay atention to so many things that you can't focus
Dream: “Math is difficult”
Also Dream: CODE
Edit: (for the people in the comments I’m talking about a coding language I personally learned when coding although it may not be the same to what dream learned, this was just a dumb joke)
Coding doesn't have to be mathematical. That's mostly if you're coding geometric stuff or a render engine or stuff. You don't need to know 1+1 in HTML.
I Code in Java, c# and some more and that you need to be good in math for it is a myth
I mean... maths does help because you'd be familiar with the problem solving mindset but it's not a requirement. If anything, it was the other way around - I only got good at maths as a result of learning to code.
So if I run for .792 blocks and then jump I should be able to make the jump!
-Dream in a nutshell
@@ProjectPowerPoint What i learned from my years coding is that you need to think logical for problem solving and things like that. I would say math is optional. You get better at it with time when you code but you dont need that when you want to start coding. Do you know what i mean xD

I don't have something but I just get random pains and it's gotten to the point always walking around school and stuff that I just don't realize my pain is a problem until someone else is like "hey. @@anna15410 i literally have no idea what is rugby. I heard about that, but i don't know what it is. I think it's a sport with a ball...? I'm not sure.
about what dream says about people having a certain brain and that it makes it easier
deadass knew a girl at my old highschool who could look at one latin word and the translation and know it forever but she was terrible at math (physics specifically)
people definitely can be wired differently to pick up on certain things faster
That's so true. I'm extremely good at history, geography, ethical formation and I learn languages pretty fast.
But I struggle with maths and physics. I mean, I'm almost 16 years old and I'm still unable to memorize the multiplication tables! It's also impossible for me to do even the easiest mental opperations.
I was also diagnosed with BPAD type 2 some months ago, and even if I don't have the same disorder as Dream, I can relate with some things that he said. Also, I'm from Argentina, so sorry for my bad english :)
@@sombriluna8770 i wouldn’t say what dream has is in itself a disorder, nor is the lack of ability to do certain things such as math or learning language, it’s just that everyone works differently with how they process information
@@corbid5093 That's what I said. And I didn't meant anything bad with the word disorder, nor that he has one. I just don't know any other word to adress it. I'm sorry
@@sombriluna8770 oh i see, i would suggest calling it a way of thinking rather than a disorder, when it comes to english. it’s okay if you don’t know the words for things sometimes, don’t sweat it
@@corbid5093 Thanks, I've been trying to learn English by myself since I almost learn nothing of it as a subject in my... bachillerato? It's like a High School that you enter once you're 13 yo
fun drinking game:
*take a shot every time dream says like*
edit- omg I've never gotten 1k likes before thank yall im glad I was early loll
as one of these people that have the same habit as dream, I'm offended 😭 jk!! lmao
But fr. Honestly, I wish I could get rid of it. my friends make fun of me all the time for it 😂
It just happens naturally idk we can't really control it. it's not our fault haha
@@rainyday_7654 like 15 ppl in my class have that problem but with “um”
@@capybarachan650 yeahh!
@@rainyday_7654 yup at this point if you don’t say um when you are asked a question you sometimes get a piece of candy
@@capybarachan650 damn really? Sounds fun. It's not common in my school so we just get made fun of 😂
Imagine: Meeting this kid in a pvp server and then years later you're great bestfriends and living in the same house together.
Oh don't imagine, Sapnap and Dream are the living proof :) ❤️
Dream wanting online school
2020: your wish has been granted
i could listen to dream talking about the most random things that he likes talking about for hours omg
Just me or does dream speedrun talking
Edit: this was sarcasm-I understand why he was stumbling over words lmao. So don’t take this as something offensive plz!
He doesn't talk very fast, like the other person said, dream is probably nervous about releasing personal information.
@Yesenia Garcia-Cruz sorry if you took that as me being offensive towards dream or anyone that stutters-that wasn’t the intention of that comment at all, I actually do stutter also when I get nervous or when I’m trying to explain anything-but dreams stutter makes me wanna listen 10x more idk why
@Yesenia Garcia-Cruz :)
dream has adhd, me and all the people i know who have adhd talk pretty fast because we have a lot to say :) he could also be nervous
@@bug3954 makes a lot of sense, one of my friends have ADHD but don’t talk a lot or talk really slow unless she has something to say and he wants to rant to everyone lol
3:50 when dream Said that he was smart at learning, I could feel it. I have an extreme case of adhd. I cannot focus more than 2 minutes, and all i learn is the stuff that goes in my ear during the online ckass while i play minecraft. Also the way he speaks, repeating a few words and continuing topics after topics is also relatable
“I couldn’t learn language even if I tried”
me, being trilingual: oop.
Wow, I'm bilingual but I couldn't imagine learning another language
Me, being trilingual too: Oop.
Me, not knowing how to speak in any language, not even English: oop
who cares? lmao
@@w1l1 that’s really nice of you to write that
As someone with ADHD, it’s cool to know someone I look up to has gone through the same struggles❤️
Hearing Dream talking about drawing and writing through class makes me feel much, much better about doing the same. For the longest I was told that I was lazy or that I wasn’t trying to focus and I was scolded for not getting my work done when I literally couldn’t. And to hear somebody I look up to say they did the exact same thing and to see how successful he is now?? That’s really, really nice.
Dream: I am genuinely smart
Also Dream: I don’t have a high ego
He wouldn't be Dream without his ego xP
Honestly this took me a while to accept but recognizing your strengths isn't being egoistical
Me in online school listening to Dream talk about online school: ._.
Same
Dream: *talking about online school*
Me: I should probably pay attention to my classes now
Teacher: watch these kids who were on the news and called stupid
Me: I think I'll watch dream
Watching this as a smart adhd kid who's currently failing a lotta classes due to not being able to focus/skipping....it's comforting to watch someone like him be successful/happy even after all that.
I am currently failing online school, the fact that you failed 6 months and I am 6 months into the school year and picked it back up...
It inspires me.
I’m also doing poorly in school. I just don’t have the attention span for it. But I’m trying my hardest and I think by the 22nd I can at the very least pass all my classes.
Welp I’m falling and there is a month left so
@AnoncremWasTaken 1. Cheating isn’t ok but I understand where you come from since you don’t wanna fail 2. How is that possible
@@cupidre1 good luck! I THINK YOU CAN DO WONDERFUL THINGS IN MONTHS TIME :]
did u do ok? it's been 7 months and I really hope it went well for u
I love listening to how other people deal with ADHD in school as I have it too, I do really well in school despite my ADHD and I will doodle to help myself focus
I did terrible but I thinks that’s bc in my school if you had any sort of mental disability, people would think you’re dumb
Nice
6:12 lmfao what is this “yeh” have a nice day guys
The ADHD thing is so me, when I'm not twirling pencils or tapping my foot, I draw on my notepad. I go through notepads SO quick! 90% of my notepad is like practicing writing with both hands, writing about random nerdy things, and drawing. I cannot be in class without a notepad or else my ADHD goes insane.
Y'know I think I get this whole stanning Dream thing now.
That's actually pretty cool that both Techno and Dream have ADHD :)
Dream Talks About His Younger Self... Online School, ADHD, How He Met Sapnap and Favorite Sports!
Who Talks About His Younger Self... Online School, ADHD, How He Met Someone and Favorite Sports!
Idk
what
What Talks About His Younger Self... Online School, ADHD, How What Met Someone And Favorite Sports!
you can hear the excitement and passion in his voice when he is being asked about all of this stuff, and i am so happy to see him geeking out his adhd excitement cause i do the same and its so heartwarming
This being so unstructured was so comfortable? ADHD brain go brrrrr-
I feel like this was so much more easy to process than something say, scripted. I love this.
I’m a little salty that dream is like good at everything ngl
I mean he’s a coder a gamer and is good at every sport what the actual fuck
Hearing him talk about stuff like this so passionately is really sweet, he seems like such a genuine person!! :)
