It's always been like this, original most wanted, carbon, hot pursuit. Be careful what you wish for because we don't piss easy boring police chases in future games. There needs to be a balance of fun and realism, and cop cars keeping up with you is pretty much mandatory if you want it to be fun and challenging.
certain jumps they wreck every time especially over water and onto roof tops, shipping containers, parking garage etc. Ford GT with damage perk and v12 wrecks cops, haven't found anything better including the Ford Raptor w 1500+HP
You know, watching this for the first time without owning the game, you think: "hey, this kinda looks like fun, kinda..." After playing the game for a week, you realize, heat level 5 is very very imbalanced. Every cop chase becomes a long frustrating run. I don't mind short difficult periodes, but sooner or later, things are getting annoying. Depending on your patience.

But the game is so unbalanced that as long that you don't upgrade your car to the max, it feels hopeless to try and even get to one if you are miles away from such a point. It's only when you max out your car, that it flips to the other side and you can simple (most of the times) outrun them before you even reach it.. -_-

I'm so glad I'm rep 50, because other then the freaking ultimate parts, I don't need to go there (night) anymore. No real tuning, just unbalanced frustrating cop races. This is definitely the last nfs i will ever buy. Real races, hard races should be the way to go. But the races are totally child play even on hard setting with a bad car on your side. NFS should be about races, not about chases. Why force you into frustrating gameplay to get parts and if you dont you dont get parts. Get actual races, hard races where you need skill to get parts. But not invincible completely unrealistic cops. I just gave up on this. EA dont know how to make a good game. Easy races and invincible cops are not the way.
To all the haters. This Nfs is actually pretty neat. And yes, since last week, i still thought nfs underground 2 and most wanted were the best. EA games did a good job, they have finaly listened to their audience.
Nfs rivals had badass chases in my opinion emp's shockwave jammers spike stripes and unlimited vehicle repair if u can make it to a nearby gas station.
The Police in this game are relentless. Sometimes I have been checking the radar only for a Police car to literally teleport right in my direction of travel. Also I cannot believe that you still had 4 cars on your after that immense jump. I have found that jumping from inside the abandoned raceway to the outside usually always lets me escape the police. But take care, I did it once, thought i was free and clear them drove over a spike strip.
Bro it's easy to lose the cops, on the abandoned raceway, on the bridge inside the center of Palm city near the water and on the dock jumps and also in that place in the video those little jumps in Mendoza keys And I forgot to mention that there's also one in the dunes on top of everything on the map, just jump somewhere there and you'll have escaped
If you are level 50 and have a 400+ car you don't even need a place, just speed is enough and if you have a lot of damage in the car just enter a safe house nearby

I know everybody hates NFS MW 2012 because Burnout Paradise and shit, but man I loved the cop chase in that one. More cop cars, unadvertised rhinos (except for the cop radio sound & the level itself, but definitely no banner telling you "hey, a rhino is coming", and actually was not just a ram thing but an actual chase by the rhino through a bunch of roadblocks full of those and cop corvettes throwing spikes everywhere). There is something about Payback and Heat that doesn't convince me yet. I will wait to see what's Criterion cooking up.
Man I once managed to get to heat level 4 barely. Simply put cops in this NFS are nuts. They’re probably the most aggressive bunch since MW, Carbon days. Kinda like GTA V cops, coming out of nowhere but more brutal.

The cops get easier at max level cars. Believe me. Once you get to heat 5 never let your foot off the pedal and you'll escape them easily. The rhinos are what you gotta worry about.

I escaped heat level 5 cops with a corvette (no upgrades) just make sure you drive between buildings because then they will slow down to not crash their and, if you get boxed just stay calm and ram the cop cars to escape
a jump over water will make the cops very confused. for example, at the port murphy the cops for some reason crash mid air so you also get extra rep points for from crashing the cops and you can also get a cool photo of a cop crashing mid air
The damage bar should not be there at all. I love doing cop chases for fun and so do other people but when you restrict it due to a damage bar it just makes everything pointless.
Go down to the shipyard jump the ramp to land on those shipping container. Cops won’t up there with you. Easiest way to lose them when you’re on the 5 heat. The safe house is around the corner too after the cop leaves the area and you jump down from the container

The damage bar should not be there at all. I love doing cop chases for fun and so do other people but when you restrict it due to a damage bar it just makes everything pointless.

Go down to the shipyard jump the ramp to land on those shipping container. Cops won’t up there with you. Easiest way to lose them when you’re on the 5 heat.
The safe house is around the corner too after the cop leaves the area and you jump down from the container

Hit the race track in the city and always use jumps thats how i get away from em all the tine
