From my experience a Yagi antenna has a better gain than Log antenna. Log antenna is recommended for the cities where signal is between medium and high. But for low to medium signal a Yagi will do the job. You may install an amplifier between a Log antenna and the TV/STB to improve the signal but this is mostly recommended if you have good signal and want to connect to two or more TV.

If you want to improve the signal you can add Low VHF reflector to improve the low VHF gain power by 30%

Nice nice review. This made me go to their website. They have RG11 coax cable available. Says it has a thicker pure copper core and thicker insulation. I use a kit to cut and replace the coax connectors to shorten the coax. Don't know if I could use my Klein tools to do that with this thicker cable. I wonder if they would send you samples. Myself, I have written to food companies and they have sent me things.... sometimes for review. Anyways thank you for this video. I am an avid believer in outside television antennas.

I like the staggered log element design. Maybe that's why it holds the signal strength without the meter bouncing around.
This design looks very similar to the PBD log antenna on Amazon, but it carries the omh transformer on the opposite end and it has tube elements vs the solid bars on this one.

Just bought one of these myself and it works great. It has just enough gain to work decent enough indoors and it is pretty light. Around 5 pounds total. I would recommend this Antenna 👍

They could have made this longer on the VHF side & made this a full band antenna that would remind me of an old Winegard Chromestar antenna built back in the 70's🤔

What are the specs on it like gain in UHF and VHF Hi.
    It’s probably no better then a CM4221 4 bay.
To do major damage (a saying) big antennas always have more gain and capture area. Channel Master the one that closed in NC. Use to make the CM VHF Crossfire largest one being 194 inches.

If you could try out the Fringe Yagi uhf vhf antenna model number 30-2440 I find it's one of the best small antennas on the market and it's running for $50 now on some websites I got it off Amazon for $60 a few years ago it works far better than any other small antenna I've tested out says it has a 50 mi range however I can pick up stations from over 70 mi away .

Just checked, this model is $78 in Canada from Newark, $56 in US. I'll keep it it mind for a review.

In your area you need a much bigger antenna such as a full size Winegard model.

Yeah, I have tested many antennas. An antenna with longer elements is best for the Low-VHF channels I have here.

A good VHF only would be good for all your channels. They are good for 2 through 13. I don't believe in using all channel antennas. UHF and VHF should have their own antennas. There is two ways you can have two antennas for TV. You can do the easy way and just add another line and use an A / B switch or use an antenna combiner don't use a splitter. The A/B switch may be better with less loss. 73

I’ve tested VHF-only antennas as well. They are definitely better for my reception area. 73
