Why do you ask?
I know fuck all about basketball, just follow the wolves these past few seasons because of their players. I listen to your pod and skor north to get a better understanding of the team. I sincerely appreciate that you guys (and other podcasters) deliver a lot of content that is accessible and enjoyable to people like me - a stranger on the internet. Enjoyed this pod as much as it seemed you did in making it, cheers and good luck through the finals.
I remember I just started to watch the NBA in 2014 and just randomly tuned in to a nets game and saw this maniac of a player playing his ass off which immediately made me a fan. Turns out he was a former MVP and hall of famer. Truly became a fan of the wolves in 2015 when KG got traded to MN to finish his career. I haven't been around as long as some of the real OGs of the fanbase but I'm as ecstatic as it gets rn. It took me almost 10 years to see a wolves series win and I cannot imagine how miserable it would've been for the wolves faithful. Wolves back!

The Denver series should be awesome. So many nuanced possibilities. And yet this series will be decided by one of the most basic principles in basketball -- rebounding. Whichever team wins the battle for the boards gets through and should be the favorite to win the damn trophy. Part of me wishes in Finch's absence we could give Tom Izzo a ten game contract for one reason, get the Wolves up for the boring and also important aspect of the game. Rebounding. Knowing Ants upbringing and all he went through, having positive nale rile models like Conley Jr. and Finch not only do wonders for Edwards on court, but probably behind closed doors in his recent journey into fatherhood

Getting rid of DLo was the most important moves. Conley is a team mentor and NAW is one of the best pickups in Wolves trade history. Hindsight, I would have traded Wiggins and #1 pick for Mike and Nickeil as well. Go Wolves. I don't know if I would rather play the Lakers or the Nuggets, but I think this team will be dawgs and bite either.
I still like what Dlo did for the wolves though. He definitely didn’t fit for this team long term but he was crucial in that first play in game and helped the team stay afloat during KATs injury.
If Kerr and the Team USA is scouting the playoffs they're seeing their starting 2 guard spot suddenly up for grabs...Ant's coming for that cause Ants coming for ALL of it.

Kat should play his position like Naz on the perimeter and recognize mismatches to drive or post up like Kat.
I would like to see Kat rotate into the corners more like Naz. so when Ant drives he has Kat as an option. Usually Kat is behind at the top of the arc or at the elbow.

Ive been one of the critics with KAT in the last couple yearsz but super happy that KAT played really good overall in this series... Especially in yesterday's game with all the foul trouble being very efficient on offense and anchoring down on defense with rebounding.
Its one thing to be critical with a player... But one of the rare times i want to be proven wrong in this instance😅 Besides ant, kat, and Conley, no one else was really consistent offensively yesterday
I give him a C+
He sat multiple games entire forth quarters cause the coach didn't trust him in the matchup. You don't sit guys making max money for entire quarters with 4 fouls. He also sat entire quarters in multiple games due to him making silly fouls as per usual dating back to the grizzlies series. He still hasn't fully learned. I still believe wolves win in 5 games without Kat at all. I entered the full on trade Kat camp last offseason. And stick by it. Regardless if we win the chip or not. If we win it with him, it will be in spite of him. Not because of him. A star player is allowed 1 bad game per series. That's it. Maybe 2 if it goes 7. But all the other games better be darn near the equivelant of what Ant just did this last series.

Suns fan here. You guys really kicked our ass and deserve to move on. Old and slow vs young and hungry. We couldnt penetrate until game 4. When Devin Booker remembered he was Devin Booker. If these team wins the chip this season, the entire roster enters the top 15 wolves of all time. Excluding guys like Morris, Moore, Garza, Minott, Miller and Warren. And will only include KG of the OG's. Only after our current 15 can we start adding other forner wolves.
Looking at this success and looking back it is mind blowing KG only dragged this team out of round 1 ONCE. Then again the West was HOF up and down so I suppose I understand. Ant has a ways to go to catch MJ, but he might trump KG in Minnesota with play like this
