Ahahaha, I had the same problem as you with my monthly spread. First time I wrote two days per line and everything ended up crammed up but I just rolled with it. Second month (current month actually) I fit five days in four lines and everything fits nicely, although calculating the distance between days is not easy. I really like your solution (separating into two pages), so I think I will try that next month.

I also have a number of things that I should get done, but never seem to - putting them on a Post-It I can move from month to month is a great idea.
