List of things to carry
The things you might need on a trip like this is unlimited. However the things you will end up
using is limited. While packing for the trip, use weight v/s utility ratio to decide whether or not to
carry a certain item.
The best combination to have is a day pack/ small rucksack/ magnetic tank bag (on person/ bike)
which you can carry on your back and another small duffel bag in which you can accommodate
things you wouldn’t need immediately/ during the ride (satellite luggage/ in SUV).
Tool Kit
It is advised that each rider be able to remove the front/rear wheel of the motorcycle. The rider
should also be able to replace the bike’s spark plug (s).
In order to do this, each rider must have a tool kit with the motorcycle at all times on the ride. A
complete OE certified tool-kit which comes with every RE motorcycle will be able to solve this
purpose. Luggage on person
There are some things that we have found to be extremely useful on our previous rides in India/
abroad. Each rider must carry these pieces of equipment on person at all times
1. Torch
2. Pocket knife
3. Matches, lighter
4. Sunscreen
5. Vaseline
6. Water bottle with water/ hydration pack
7. Light, high energy snacks/ nutrition bars
8. Basic First aid kit with essential medicines + Diamox, or your prescribed medication if
you are on medication
9. Riding/ woolen gloves
10. Wet wipes/ Tissue paper
other pieces of equipment which are helpful
1. Tools
2. Mosquito repellent
3. Spare pair of socks
4. Piece of rope
5. Spare bike key (you could also keep this with us or a friend)
6. Spare spectacles, lens cleaning and carrying solution, if you wear glasses or contact
lenses.
7. Camera/ phone and spare power supply, extension boards, multi - plugs, chargers,
memory storage devices films, tapes etc. 8. Toilet roll
9. Water Purification (Chlorine) Tablets
10. Hand Sanitizer

1. Jacket
2. Pants

4. Gloves
5. Helmet
1. Four pairs of underclothes
2. Four pairs of socks
3. Pair of shorts
4. An additional trouser (avoid jeans)
5. Four additional T-shirts or shirts
6. Sweatshirt or sweater
7. Sneakers or floaters
8. Cap/ hat
9. Towel
10. Soap
11. Tooth brush and tooth paste
12. Water proof wind cheater - very thin
13. Balaclava/ Muffler
14. Glares/ Goggles
15. Free luggage space if you intend to shop/carry memorabilia from the trip

u should also mention a medium sized handy waste bag. Riders should promote NOT throwing garbage anywhere especially in mountains.

Drink as much as warm water or Kahwa.. you can have lemon flavour chocolate or Camphor sniffing is also an option. No Drinking on high altitude.
