    In last question how AE=2(OD) sir can you explain......

    • @Gaurav_9339
      @Gaurav_9339 3 ปีที่แล้ว +18

      BD/DE=BO/OA.
      That means D and O are mid points of BE and BA.
      Then there is a theorem in class 10th(triangles) that proves that AE=2(OD)

      copy pasting my answer from another comment.
      It is a concept called similar triangles.
      BE is a chord being bisected by OD. so, we know that BE = 2 * BD (as BE is split into two equal parts at D)
      BA is a chord being bisected at O. so, we know that BA = 2 * BO (as BA is the diameter and O is the center point)
      we know that angle B is common to both of the triangles.
      by laws of similar triangles Side Angle Side (two sides are proportional and the angle is same between both sides), we can say that both triangles are similar.
      It means that the other angles must be equal (hence angle AEB is right angle as it matches angle ODB) and the remaining side AE must be proportional. AE = 2 * OD
      similar triangles are based on rules like AAA (all matching angles equal in both triangles), SAS (two sides proportional to matching sides of other triangle and the matching angle between them should be equal), SSS (all sides must be proportional), ASA (two matching angles being equal and the side between them should be proportional). high school math.

      Look at angle D, that is 90° so the line opposite to 90°(perpendicular) is the hypotenuse so 13 OB is the hypotenuse
