那個時候觀眾、評審的反應真實多了，不像現在的歌唱節目，觀眾都在比誇張的，每個都好像在演戲一樣......

Also, I like how respectful the audience was of his singing. They were quiet until the very end, not screaming in admiration when he hit the high notes/right before he finished, like you sometimes find on talent shows in America.
I'm listening to this over and over again. He did such a great job, every little detail was done perfectly.

I agree with how people are more impressed by his voice because of his looks. I would say it is the same case with susan boyle.. people didn't expect that huge disparity between their voice and their looks, so when they perform well, people will take it that they performed VERY well. Agree he has an awesome voice..
at first i didnt think much but once he started singing, i froze and stopped whatever i was doing. He is THAT good :)

Such a talented guy. Like Susan Boyle, when your not quite expecting such a great performance it really takes you by supprise. I love this song, and I wish this guy all the luck in this competition!!

Basically, he has taken part in several singing competitions in Taiwan. Most of time, he sang the songs which were originally sung by female singers. Indeed, he sings pretty well and is well-known for his high pitched and female-like voice. However, he is easily substitued by other female singers. He is not barely known by Taiwanese but he hasn't been popular in Taiwan because his performances were composed of too much imitation.

well i live at the baltic sea, in north germany so i dont really know much about munich and rhein valley. but i once visited berlin. a wonderfull city! i really recommend you to bring some time there because there are many things to see ;)

Well, I've always been a huge fans of Whitney Houston, LOVE her. I do agree with ginaycchan that he sings exactly how She sings, but no doubt, this guy has a powerful and strong vocal and CAN ACTUALLY SING. WOW, look at the expressions of the judges, it's like Lin had just blown them away, he's a BOMB! I think the music industry nowadays really needs this kind of talented people.
