Great review! I'm considering the PITAKA Magez Case 5 for my new iPhone 15 Pro Max. Did you notice any impact on wireless charging speed or compatibility with MagSafe accessories? Your experience would help a lot in making my final decision!
I have the mag ez 4 and the benks armor air, while this case feels ever so slightly thinner, the armor air has stronger MagSafe magnets than more than 99% of cases in general, while the magnets on the mag ez are lackluster which Michael covered in this video. I do find myself switching back to the mag ez 4 from time to time for its slightly thinner and lighter profile, but whenever I do I have to make sure to be mindful as the top and bottom are exposed on the pitaka vs the benks which does not have the top and bottom exposed. Just something to think about when making your purchases! Pitaka goes for 69$ while Benks is 36$ Happy Hollidays!
@@ryannguyen4813 I returned it because I like the other case from Pitaka, which is 600D, better. I also liked the pitaka, which is called “break the line”, it is more pleasant to the touch, but this is my personal perception.
Much the same really. The case doesn't make the phone hotter if that's what your asking but it also doesn't help spread the heat much. If your phone normally gets hot then this case will also get hot.
Have Pitaka updated this model to include the alignment magnet? Ive just purchased one on eBay and it has an alignment magnet which is making me think whether I’ve got a replica?! I didn’t know there are replicas.

Hey! No the Magsafe is totally fine for me. Its got some strong magnets and everything works great. No issue with charging either

This Pitaka or benks air case?
I would go with the Benks Air for sure. Just offers a bit more protection all around the device
A leather case would be better for a wallet, because it would add some friction. But I like more the pitaka . They are the best good looking cases.
The 4 has the alignment magnet, it just isn’t identified with the white lines
Is it as matte and anti-slip as the previous series, or worse, or better? This moment is important to me.
Its a matt feeling case but as with all Aramid fiber cases it picks up fingerprints and can become slippery over time. But an amazing case anyway!

Why did you return it? Im looking to try pitaka but am used to dbrand grip case. I'm worried that it's going to be slippery.

@@coppervsglass ye well the materials in theory isolate the heat. So it might be worse cuz it cumulate the heat. Like it could get cooler a lot longer

Does it protect ?
I’ve dropped mine 30-40 times with no damage to it… iPhone 13 version… the first Fusion Weaving case.
It’s now 2 years old and looks brand new
100% it protects. Yes its thin but the overall protection is great!
