- Hello friends, enjoy this slow, cozy vlog where I grade exams and write report cards, read Montgomery, Tolkien, Isaacson, and Austen, enjoy some quiet scrapbooking time, do a bit of writing, and plan a trip to Scotland and England for this summer!

As an Edinburgh native, the trip will be so exciting! Also, a lot of the museums and galleries in Scotland are free. I hope you enjoy the city and the rest of Scotland x
So wonderful to hear!!
Ooh the books you are going to buy- now I am excited!!! 😊
Imagine having a Jstor sticker!! I hope you enjoy your travels when the time comes!
My family and I used to stay in Lossiemouth when we visited my sister who was going to school up there. Such a quaint and beautiful part of the world. You will love it!
Amazing, I can't wait to visit!
Your trip sounds amazing. We live in Glasgow and visit family on the Isle of Lewis regularly. You will have an awesome time. You both deserve a good break. Im super jealous about your Oxford trip😅 thanks for another beautiful and inspiring video. You're a gem 💎
Thank you so much for this kind message! 🥰
I live in the Highlands you will love it.
You are blessed 🙌
I'm happy about your trip and looking forward to watching your content 😎 Have you thought about contacting Ruby Granger and perhaps meeting her? Watching a video of you two would be like a royal meeting for me 🤩
I like the story of how you met your husband, it reminds me of the movie Before Sunrise.
Haha I would love to meet Ruby as I really admire her, but she is on a whole other level than me! She's a booktube celebrity while I'm just little old me starting out on YT. But, maybe someday. I suppose our paths could cross accidentally in Oxford, perhaps!
You are not LITTLE and OLD- you are a STUDENT, TEACHER ,LIFE PARTNER, BRAVE SOUL who is putting positive content on her channel to inspire others -💪🏻💪🏻❤️
I didn’t realize scrapbooking was still popular. Exciting! I used to be so into that and have 4 bookshelves of books housing all memories. I love the fullness of your pages. Have you read Meeting God in Quiet Places by F. LaGard Smith? He’s a pastor in the Cotzwalds and it’s a collection of essays from his walks. I think you’d really enjoy it. I read one before bed at night and found them so cozy.
Aw love that idea of having so many scrapbooks! It's definitely a lost art - my mom made us scrapbooks of our childhoods but I think most moms today keep things digital, which I think is too bad! I'm so grateful to have those paper copies designed with love by her. And wow, that book sounds right up my alley! Putting it on the list! Thank you! ☺️
Oh, I meant to tell you in the last video how much I enjoyed reading Isaacson's biography of Leonardo de Vinci a few years ago. Really fascinating! I hope you enjoy it. I have his book on Benjamin Franklin too but I haven't read it yet. I just finished Sarah Clarkson's book, Reclaiming Quiet: Cultivating a Life of Holy Attention. I connected with it a lot and thought you might as well.
Ah that's awesome! I'm working through it right now and really enjoying it! I think I'll get the Ben Franklin one when I'm done. Ooo I like the sounds of Sarah's book - adding it to my list!! 📚
