Gurl.... I didn't realize how much I needed your video. I got so frustrated with the parting but seeing how you did this helped. Now I need 4 days, hair, and a swivel chair.
Your braids have a more professional process and outcome than going to a salon. They were worthy of staying in for 3 months over three weeks. You could have washed them whenever you wanted and everything. I wish you were my cousin, I would Always pay you to do my hair. Very well done
Hey Ty. As a braider myself, I think your parting method is absolutely GENIUS! I’m going to start doing my parts like that. And your braids turned out gorgeous. It usually takes me about two, to three days to do my hair. Beautiful job!! Thanks 😊 for sharing.
Aw I appreciate your kind words, means a lot! 🤎 Definitely give it a try and let me know how you liked it. And 2/3 days I feel is average for doing it yourself after 4 days is when it gets dreadful lol. Thanks for sharing Sis 😊💕
Thank you for parting tutorial and braid number!! I want to start a braid loc. Matured women get tired of the rigmarole for styling all the time....I would have 'em braids for at least 2 months...youth have energy...maturity have reserves ...a joy and delight to watch!!! Keep it up!!❤❤❤
That ear-to-ear braid is tlike the guide-braid! Im glad I found this video because my nape is crazy! This will help me maintain my lines much better. I love crispy boxes and rows. The longest it ever took me to do my hair was 5 days as well, and I've done it twice since yhen. If I dont have too much time, then I'll do bigger braids that may take me 4 to 5 hours.
Yes girl I agree with the ear to ear part because that way I know everything else up from there will be good and that’s most important. And 5 days we are some troopers. I’m doing medium braids today but so excited for the day I do large braids and it only take 5 hrs! 💕
Excellent video! I've been braiding my own hair since I was 15 and still learned valuable technique, so thank you. The longest it took me was a week. They were waist length small Senegalese twists with Marley hair. I'm always taking breaks 😂
I just braided my hair extra small Twists. It took me 3 days 😭😭 my hands and back was on fire. But worth it. My parting was free flow. No mirror. Wanna try the brick layer method next ❤. Thanks for the inspo
I braid my hair myself all the time! I have some boho crochet locs in my hair from your tutorial a few months back. The tip you gave on continuing the brick lay parting to part in the middle of the bottom braid and put it to the side was genius!!! And the longest it has taken me to do my hair was 2weeks on and off. I was over it by half way but was like you’ve made it this far so I finished. I haven’t done anything like that since but I have been wanting to do some braids like this for years!
I leave my braids in for at least 90 days, i wash them alot and oil my scalp, and use foam and keep covered alot of time with bonnet when im just at home, 3 weeks not long enough for me. Im mother of 5 and its more ideal for me to not have to do my hair everyday
Your parting is just 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😍😍😍😍😍💋I took your advice and I always presection my hair. Makes it easy to braid. I will get the 3 way mirror, I know it will help me a lot.
It takes me forever to part. Took about 2-3 hours one time but in the end it was so worth it.I just pre part the rows and finger part the braids. I be wanting them to look super professional but I get over that real quick lol and be ready to get it done and over with.
You did it again! 🙌🏾🙌🏾This is everything!!! I am not one to usually go for small braids but I want to at times for longevity purposes. And this is something I can finally follow.
The first time I did faux locs on myself back in 2016, took me 3 days and when I was done, it looked like i had the locs in for months already 😫 lmao, needless to say.............ima always do my own hair no matter how long it take cause it's cheaper lol
I’m starting my Locs on my own and I want my parts this size I have been searching for like 4 days this was so helpful thank you so much for sharing . I’m ready to start now
I've braided my own hair before, but I usually only do medium sized braids on my own. I've not ventured into doing small or extra small just because I haven't mastered the parting. However, I've heard that the girlies have been able to pay about $50 to get their hair pre parted at the shop. If I can find a local shop that will do it for the small pattern, I'll venture to do my own small knotless braids.
Ooo i part similar. I do mini twist so i do three sections in the back above the nape, no middle parts in my head….and i section rows each time i undo a section.
I will do this parting method when i do my own box braids again. This will helps me alot very detail. I did my own box braids before it took me 2 days medium box braids lol i almost didnt finish it i was so so tried i finished it i was pretty my first time. Will do it again lol and thank you for sharing this parting method. You did u great job and pretty hairstyle. Have a great day.👏😊
You’re welcome 😊 glad you enjoyed it! And okay I’m proud you did finished your hair despite the struggle of completing it. Doing these extra small braids about took me out as well. I was complaining so much but I knew what was ahead and fought through! It’s always so worth it at the end 💕
Hi there, I really truly love your hair. I wants to do mines nets week the last time I did my hair like that with my own natural hair were7 years ago and it took about 5 to 7 hours
Omg your so talented girl … can’t believe it took you 4 days but you slayed this style 🥲 now I want to try xsmall knotless lol. Oh and my longest hairstyle took me 2.5 days to complete. I did small knotless braids and kept them in for 2 months. Absolutely loved that style & YES I would do them again lol
Heyyyy, happy Friday. I was rocking Afro springy mini twist my parting was freestyle. I used your parting outline for rope twist& my coworkers thought I went 2 o a braid&loc shop. They look sooo good, Thanks🎉🎉🎉🎉. O, 4 your knotless braids what is your scal care routine& how do u keep it looking so good 4 3wks.💕💕💕💕
Oh yes!!!! I love to hear it! So happy my videos has be helpful and working out for you! Ahh it makes me so excited reading msgs like this. And I usually just wrap my hair up at night with a scarf followed up with a bonnet and maybe oil my scalp once a week. I used to add oils and leave in conditioner every couple days but I find it weights my braids down/ makes them frizzy faster. 💕✨🥰
You are always the real MVP! I appreciate you sharing all the deets! As always love the style but I do have one question. DO you prefer the all human hair boho or the synthetic plus human hair boho? And why one over the other?
The real mvp! 😎 Okay friend hype me up!! And that’s a good question. Honestly they both have pros and cons like using human hair only in my opinion is a hassle.. working with that silky texture is slightly annoying and time consuming. I love long braids and using human hair only you are somewhat limited on how long the hair will be, vs adding synthetic it could be long af. But the pros of human hair only is it’s more light weight and look better.. it’s something about that weightless fluffy hair that I love. Now on the other hand using both synthetic and human hair the style is way heavier and takes longer to complete because you have to braid down more. So if I had to choose I’ll say human hair only but I do love wearing both. 💕
The longest I have taken is 2 and a half days but that is coz I was so very tired and kept redoing my braids at the front. The back can look whatever but the front HAS TO BE CRISP, or as crisp as I can get it
Okay I understand.. I’m the same and will redo a braid in a heartbeat lol but looking crisp is definitely a goal of mine as well. Thanks for sharing 💕✨
I feel like my hair is a lot coz I always start so well but I get tired in the middle and at the front I know I have to have it crisp. 😂 I almost cry every time!!!! I love tiny braids but good lawd it is stressful AND TIRESOME!!! 😫
😂 it’s okay friend.. I understand where you are coming from. Have you tried pre sectioning your hair then start braiding from the front. I have done that a couple times. Works like a charm and my braids in the front looks amazing 🤩
I will keep on saying this.... Girll no one beats you in this internet. Your skills are extraordinary
Facts
I totally agree 💯 Hands down praise 👊🏾
For real.. 💯
Aw, I appreciate you and I will say it again and again! Glad you have been enjoying my videos 💕🔥🥰

Your skills are unsurpassed sis‼️🙌🏾🤎♥️♥️ PS: 3wks then took them out?!?!! Gurl. They woulda buried me in those braids. Cuz who taking them down? 😩😩😩🫣
😂😂😂 I know that's right😭😭
😂😂😂😂😂 best comment! 😂 and thanks friend 🤎💕
It broke my heart that it was only 3 weeks😢
Gurl.... I didn't realize how much I needed your video. I got so frustrated with the parting but seeing how you did this helped. Now I need 4 days, hair, and a swivel chair.

Good morning young lady. Would love it if you could do my hair. I’m in Milwaukee Wisconsin. How far are you from me.
I didn’t want them that long.
