The following are instructions for the "6-Strand [Double Helix] Flat Braid." Occasionally seen, but not fully understood by most, there is a very specific starting technique that allows this braiding pattern to form. My hope is that this video will help others make the creation of the particular braiding design more intentional and so more easily tied.

JD, would you consider doing a video on a 8 or 10 strand round or flat braid?
1. I've been looking for a design that I can use with solid colors to make my own camo design. I think this will work fine.
2. I often make the knot out of a simple cobra tie. Works just as well in the loop and a lot easier to tie.
I know it's kinda randomly asking but does anyone know a good website to stream new tv shows online ?

where do you get your 450 paracord at. Everything i can find is 550
I've bought paracord from ParacordPlanet before, perhaps you should give it a look? I'm sure that JD knows better sites to buy your paracord from, but there's my suggestion! They have a wide array of paracord colors and other things to add to your projects. They don't have #450 but they do have #425! :D Take a look around online and I'm sure you'll find a reliable site that sells #450. (Late response to your comment, I know, but eh.. xD)

Explaining what you’re doing would be more helpful, otherwise it’s a good tutorial.
It’s too hard for my brain because I’m dumb.
Omg the exaggerated pauses are just so annoying. I know some people can be slow learners but omg not that slow.
3 minute video packed into 13 minutes and still managed to miss critical points. Lots of dead time staring at the same thing. Especially long gap waiting to tie off. Then most of the sniping and burning as part of tying off is up to your imagination. You wouldn't know it happened except for added text. Are the books this bad?
