I’ve lived just blow Athens my whole life and visit there veeeery often. I love the ridges and all of its stories. I hope to be able to paranormally investigate the building at least once in my lifetime. Random fact, but there used to be a witches circle around a tree in that graveyard you showed at the end. Their graves were unfortunately re-located some time ago for reasons I’m not sure of.
I’d love to just see the inside! I had no idea about the witches circle! Thank you for that, I’ll have to look more into this!

We would actually took school field trips here place is creepy. During Halloween they sometimes do tours.

It is crazy how peaceful the grounds are today. I’m glad they have saved the building and repurposed a lot of it.

It had been on our list for so long. We have gone to visit a few times now. It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re nearby! Plus Avalanche Pizza is nearby and it’s amazing!!!
Ohmygoodlord these BUILDINGS! 😍 I've (Amy) read about this place, but to see sooo much up close, I LOVE this! What a monstrous (ant 🐜 ) campus too, to have this facility part of it is stunning - I'd go get a degree there just to wander and film for like, years, lol. We've got our fingers crossed you get to roam all through there soon, somehow! 👻
Hey Amy! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! The Ridges had peaked my interest for SO many years. We finally headed there for the first time in 2019. HAHAHA Right?! Those ants don't even realize how good they've got it! I read that about the students having class in there too, and I said the same thing. This reminds me of 'girl interrupted' and id be so scared of angelina jolie's character as a ghost. It's so horrible ppl were put in there so wrongly but they prob were a bit nuts -after- being in there

I still have never watched that, but I need to! Now I'm intrigued about her character! It's so sad how the people in these facilities were treated, and I agree... I think anyone would go a little mad after being in here, if they came in otherwise unscathed.
