I'm glad that you said that there is nothing wrong with desiring marriage and that desiring marriage is actually a good and godly thing because there is this misconception within the church that one should be happy with being single and not desire marriage at all. Sista, the waiting season is tough. But... God is refining this heart of mine. Single at 53 I could surely say that I messed up my life. But I won't, as I believe God will turn a repentant heart to His praise. I know that Christ's return is soon, so very soon, but strangely God laid it upon my heart to start praying for a wife around March. I'm trusting God for a companion for His kingdom purposes. I like what you said, that if it is for His kingdom, He we do everything to make it happen. At this stage I don't want to mess up what is now transpiring. It's been a long and at times lonely road. Thank you for your sharing wisdom.

I am 34 yrs now, i have been single all my life, never been in love never had a girlfriend and it seems God is answering everybody prayers except mine..well i already see my destiny might be single forever however I saying Glory to the most high God... Maybe i was born to be single so sharonee your testimony was cute but all hope for me is gone... but God bless everybody that gets there spouse through one way or another... i stop pray for spouse now because it seems God answer all my other prayer except when i ask for a spouse infact when God hear me say the word spouse all gates in Heaven was close.. It's the waiting and looking around seeing others get what you want effortlessly..... And waiting for over 10 years, binding, repenting, doing everything possible and it still doesn't happen. How do you even trust God? How? Someone please tell me. I know that God is love. Knowing he can't fail me? But still see the issue at hand. So I give up I'd rather be in a state of when it happens it will happen. But trust in me just died and I don't know how to flame it back. In a season of being quiet. And minding my business.
I understand how you feel Sis. Be encouraged, do not allow the enemy to cause you to mistrust God. The God we serve is not a man that He should lie, neither the son of man that He should repent. Get your scriptures and let the Word take over your entire being. Begin to let an unwavering faith rise up in you and watch God bring the impossible to pass in your life. There is not a page in the Bible where God did not come through for a promise He said He will do. I can start with Sarah, Hezekiah, Hannah, David, Joseph, Abraham, and the list goes on. Keep the faith, get back in the Word and He will do it for you. God CAN and will do IT FOR YOU!
Wow your prayers and frustrations about marriage are so similar to mine! Now that you are married and looking back on your single season, can you see why God was making you wait? I know that you say your flesh was being dealt with.. can you see any other reasons?
