This man had more talent than anyone else I ever listened to. I’ve been right there with him since before Young Girl came out and finally got him some recognition. He never got what he deserved though. Love you Gary Puckett!!!

Mary Lou Mejeur I feel the same about Gary. His voice is beautiful and he is a beautiful person inside....oh yeah and out. He will be 80 in October. His voice lost a little of its easy smoothness but he's still got most of his wonder. He's still a nice looking guy. He has 2 daughters, one is a doctor. He's got 3 granddaughters and you can see in his eyes how much he adores all of his girls including his drop dead gorgeous wife. I adore this man.

Gary's songs...the lyrics...changed my teenage life choices. They (the group..lyricists) will never know how much. Wish I could thank him / them one day.....xxx
I absolutely love Gary Puckett! And this album is undoubtedly the greatest! When I and 9 other girls went to the beach in 1977 someone happened to bring along his album. I found it and played it. OVER, OVER AND OVER AGAIN. They eventually had to hide it from me. They loved him too but not to limit others taste in music, I had to put aside the best. He has/had the best voice I have ever heard. Thank you, Gary for sharing your talent with us. I read that you have passed away now but your family should never forget, (nor will I) You are and always will be the Best! I wish I could have seen you in person.
Cathy, I am pleased to report Gary is still very much alive and planning to tour the USA in June this year. It is another person with the same name who has passed away. Kerry Chater a co-founder of the group sadly died on 4 February 2022. I agree he is a wonderful singer who has kept his voice and I was delighted to see him in his first concert in the UK when he toured and meet him afterwards where he signed the cd covers I took down to the concert (my 7 LP covers were too bulky to take). He made this long time fan very happy. Linda

His career deserved a better fate than it received. He was the best singer in the rock business, and the Gary Puckett Album proved it. Music was changing when that album came out, and many bands disappeared including Three Dog Night, Hall and Oates were winding down, R&B music was no longer mainstream. Sad!!
Loretta, I have a cd by Gary entitled Timepiece and it has 15 tracks on it - all the songs on the one listed plus several more. It was a Polytel release in 1995. Maybe that will help you trace a copy. Linda

Gary Puckett was and still is awesome! True he never got the recognition he deserved! He has such a beautiful voice and his songs are so touching!
Great singer, and so underrated (like The Union Gap band)! This is the real anti-stress music we need right now!
The times were a perfect storm to end his rising career. So sad. His is one of the great voices.
