They remain there unchallenged until the mighty giraffe enters the scene for a quenching, at which time all the creatures make haste. All this at a single water hole.

A solar-powered borehole fills a nearby reservoir and is monitored by a water float that opens as the waterhole’s levels decline.
Very interesting webcam. I have a question, Since you have water, Why don't you plant Moringa oleifera trees in the area? They withstand the heat very well and do not require much water. Besides their leaves are very nutritious and most importantly they would create semi-shade where other plants could grow and make a more pleasant place for the local fauna.

Those bovine you see loitering around the water hole are Oryx a type of antelope
