I remembered Pete from watching the 10k drag shootout where they built Beer Money, and later the Wagon that was caught in the trailer fire. Immediately had tons of respect for Pete and llater became a diehard fan of Cleetus. So cool to see you guys working together 🤘

I'm 32 but didn't have access to technology and learn as much as I would like to but I watch cleetus and your very good at setting cars up and I'm really looking forward to watching ur videos
There wasn't any 9 second street cars when I first started driving (and riding/racing bikes). Nope, not even one 9.99 street car. I would have said no 9.999 cars but the clocks didn't time to the thousandth back then and the time slips (clocks) didn't even have/show reaction time or any of the progressive times. So all we saw/knew was if the light was Green or Red, then 1/4 mile ET and MPH..lol...
When I first started racing a 10 second street car was super fast and very rare. Most fast street cars were 12 second cars. My fist race car " 11 second Vega and the real fast door slammers at my track that raced every week were high 9’ s low 10’s and if you went any faster than that in a door slammer you had a “blower” poking out of the hood. Hell when I started racing ProStock cars were running low 8’s high 7’s so the idea of a 6 second street car just blows my mind, but then again I am an old fuck 😊
If I'm not crazy as a kid growing up, funnies were still in the 6's, pro stock was like 7's? This was the 80's when John Force still hadn't won anything. Bob Glidden and Warren Johnson in prostock. ESPN was king back then for drag racing. Around the time of the small tire Swamp Rat 3.
