I have a lot more respect for George Clanton as an artist because when I went to see him in Dc he was the guy who was running the shirt store so I got to meet him and he gave me my shirt which I liked, thank you for giving me the shirt George

i thought it was atleast an 8. Im much of a hater of his relapse trilogy as anyone else, and yet i still find this record a fresh gust of wind from eminem yet still bringing his zany attitude.

Slide's essentially been his "breakout" record, Pitchfork and a bunch of other big-name publications gave him some attention for it. They're all late as fuck, George has been slept on for far too long.
Summer Night and Virtua.zip are the best imo! From time to time I go back to vaporwave stuff and listen whatever comes, but these two album I can listen to any time
100% Electornica was also quite nice, although at first i was quite weirded out by the vocals, but then they grew quite on me. The follow up and now Slide seem to be me more like rehashing of it.

Honestly I love Slide, its easily my favorite album of the last few years and although I see where you are coming from with a lot of your points, I think that the sort of "typical" lyrics really give the album that extra 90's / shoegaze pop feel to it. And sure, You Lost Me There is kind of a reprise of Make It Forever, but if you take in the album as a whole its really perfect because its telling a story about love, and to me its amazing how he is able to come full circle with such an epic motif.
IMO, this album is a masterpiece. 9.5/10. But I respect your opinion.

whether he is going by ESPRIT, Mirror Kisses, Kid's Garden, or George Clanton, he has such a unique sound that makes the music stand-out when compared to his contemporaries. this isn't a magnum opus for George, he's just getting started, 100% electronica is such a great collection of musicians, please keep doing your thing.

Man this one really grew on me. That transition at the end of Dumb into Blast Off is amazing.
You COMPLETELY gave kamikaze the wrong score, I didn’t thing it was possible for a music reviewer to be that far off when reviewing an album but apparently it is, kamikaze didn’t deserve a 4/10 it deserved a 3/10

I love this album and listen to it quite often, especially to end the day and wind myself down before sleep. It does sound a little repetitive at times, which I don’t necessarily mind but I feel like there could’ve been more. Also, I get a 90’s feel for this album as well and I get put in this weird mood of nostalgia. 7/10 is reasonable but personally I’d have to give it a little bit higher rating since I listen to it so often. 9/10 👍🏼

I get lost in the world of this album, and agreed with you about the moments of tie me down and dumb, they start a little "off" then blossom into intoxicating birds of paradise

I know it’s a repackage, but it actually includes 7 new tracks. It’s 4-part narrative organization (including tracks from the earlier parts of the series) is pretty engaging in my opinion, but I would really love to hear yours. Thanks!

Livin´Loose and Slide are my favorites
ive never liked the lyrics on the album but i just love everything else such a great psychedelic summery album
i only heard this record in the last month and i cannot stop spinning it... what a perfect record.
Great album. Memorable. Walk Slowly is also a reprise of Livin' Loose, so 2 reprises, one long outro track, and one long intro track. At only 6 songs, it's too short! 8/10
Chocolate center with slightly crunchy shell, requires justice with a higher rating, because of the general quality of Suicide Bomber.
