It couldn't work as a story in the game, but the crow is giving me major "former human owner of the house who messed with summoning spirits and got turned into a crow for it a la Binx in Hocus Pocus" vibes (and then their heartbroken family abandoned the house not knowing the crow was their 'missing' family member).
That's an amazing idea! And it would work. All you need to do is split the sim who got turned into a crow from the household while you have the crow. Then possibly sell crow and move sim back in with family. Ideally with the Home Regions mod installed (in case you don't know, that thing makes it so you can tell the game which townies can be in which worlds so you wouldn't even run into sim-who-is-crow in a bar or anything.)
It’d be cool to use the new pack to build a funeral home and the mortician + their family lives above + the cemetery could be behind it. Or maybe a cemetery with a haunted tiny house for the groundskeeper. Or a spooky lighthouse haunted by a sailor. Or a "regular" looking house with a super haunted attic. The non-worn down pieces would be perfect for a castle. Also any occult builds would be fun!!
This build is very "Scooby-Doo" and I love it for that. A creepy decrepit starter from this pack would be great! And as for ideas with other packs, maybe a rundown/haunted seaside Cape Cod/Colonial house using Cats & Dogs along with whatever items also fit the vibe?
This is going to be such a fun pack. Can't wait to see all your builds. What about a church/cemetery for funerals or a farmhouse for the undertaker and his family complete with a workshop where he builds his coffins?
Super cool build! I'd love to see you make a run-down starter but also perhaps a funeral home with a little apartment above where the funeral director lives?? Idk exactly why but I feel like this pack would mesh really well with Horse Ranch! Also a Victorian gothic botanical garden/greenhouse would be super cool! Can't wait to see what you come up with next :D

I like the chair facing the window in the greenhouse/breakfast nook. I feel like a ghost, trapped in the house, would sit there and watch the living world go by through the window. 🪑👻
definitely an overgrown build using this pack and the castle pack and cottage living to make an old manor on a decent sized lot... could have a hexagonal greenhouse attached too. not abandoned though !
New England 18th Century houses used to have stencils like the pack did instead of wallpaper. I found some of the original stenciling in a friend's house.
A Victorian or super goth funeral home would be SO cool. I’m imaging a young sim who maybe inherited the business and is taking it from traditional to something with more personality.
I love this build! You asked for suggestions and i got a couple, have you seen the show Ghosts? I was thinking that mansion from the show would be a neat a build. Also, something that could be neat is a tiny home community, but its tombs or mausoleums. We can make ghosts now right? It could be runned down like an abandoned graveyard but its just a tiny home community for ghosts who wait till Halloween to scare those who dare enter for fun.

For some build ideas (apologies if this is forward of me), a home for a Death God and his love interest as well as their new child? I know Grim is technically linked to another female sim and Test Subject but I'd love to see a home where this fearsom yet professional Sim can "take off his shoes and relax with his little family". Preferably with a dog (or three). Essentially, a Sims 4 version of creating Hades, Persephone and one of their children? Ooh! Maybe a female and male twin set as Melinoe and Zagreus, usually depicted as the children of the the two rulers of the Underworld! And of course we cant forget Cerberus! ❤ You may say I have a passion and interest in Greek mythology and I have a soft spot for Hades and Persephone as out of the Gods, they are someotimes depicted as having the most successful marriage (in some stories). 🤭😅 For a second build idea, I'd love to see something like an apocalyptic build featured as a safe-zone for those trying to escape events like a zombie apocalypse? It doesnt necessarily have to be a big compound, even a small family holding that is run down, has rooms filled with stacked beds and their own garden! That would be so interesting! So the T shaped window (the thats got rectangle in the name I think) is a window found on basically every building in the country of Latvia (northeastern Europe) and it might be cool to do a build or two based off of that style. That window is found on cabins, more art nouveau building in the cities (Rīga), or run down farmhouses. It’s literally all over the country, it’s crazy.
