G-d places free choice in the hands of Israel’s Jews to choose a course of action because He believes in the Jewish People that ultimately they will choose the path of Torah. there are many Jewish leaders who didn't take these self proclaimed leaders of the Israeli government for granted and were straight up. They just learned things the hard way by not listening.

@ovis28 Israel still makes concessions on its security and territorial integrity, not because this will bring peace with the Arabs, but to convince the Americans that it wants peace.
