Commenting late but I hope this helps anyone who may watch now. Color oops is meant to remove permanent hair dyes not direct dyes such as adore and other semi permanent hair colors.
What did you try? Mine is green but it happened after I went from blond to black. It left a green tint but now I want to color my hair again and was wondering if it’ll affect the new color?
Yeah you have to have some kind of color on blonde in order to do black … black is a really concentrated blue color (mean they made the blue color really really dark to look black) and blue mixed w yellow gets green that’s why that happened to you hopefully this helped for the next time you try it out again
Wen it turns green tht means it wasn’t washed out fully the first time the same thing happened to me Nd I ended up dying my hair orange to get rid of the green colors
That’s what I was thinking. I went over it with a red dye. I didn’t even think to do it orange. Wish I would have known but I’m just glad the green is gone.
SAAAME. I’ve done this process twice! I even waited a few months in between and still nothing. I’m about to choose violence and just bleach my hair again.
I’m shocked! This didn’t happened to me… I got rid of my red which had been red for 2 yrs and I’m back to my original hair color … I just can’t get rid of the smell lol (only used it last night 🤷🏾♀️
@@naturallynikka12 It turned out a little lighter than it was. Kinda disappointed but don’t wanna do it again. I was mad tho because while it was processing, it looked like it turned close to the honey blondish it was before. Then at the first rinse it turned way darker to a med dark brown! I read that could happen but still felt like I was tricked 😂.
Yeah that's why I made this video because I was like I don't want ppl to use this product knowing it turned my hair green smh lol. I'm still going to try to get back blonde. Once I master it, definitely going to do a video about it.
@@naturallynikka12 yeah I rinsed for about an extra 20 mins thanks to your video 🙏🏾. Looking forward to the update after your blonde! I just love blonde locs, but I think I’m done with it for now. I can never get it quite right and feel I’m pushing my luck. Maybe on day.
@@extrashotofespresso_ sorry for the late response, I can’t recommend what I did because i ended up having to comb out my locs because I did so much damage to them 😩 sorry for the inconvenience
You should contact the company and let them know what happened.

Same exact thing happened to me. Thus how I ended up on your video 😭😭
Were you able to fix it?

My hair is already green due to blue fading, do you think I’ll be okay?

I’ve used this product a lot and it’s never did this to me.
This didn’t work for me either and it stinks really bad.
How did you get the smell out
I had to just keep washing it. Several times. I also deep conditioned overnight.
I rinsed and shampooed multiple times for the full 20 min and my hair is still green!
How did you fix it?
@@Itsokay222 time.. unfortunately. But I’ve read that if you try another application it helps… I just didn’t want to dry my hair out anymore
Omg imma cry😭 my hair turned green

Mines just turn n I try again
Not all of the color oops was rinsed out. You have to rinse and scrub for like 30 minutes 🤦♀️😖
Panics as about to rinse out Color Oops from my locs ! 😩😬

@@2013lovemy I love blonde as well. I was blonde for years even before locs. As my grandma always say "blondes have more fun" lol.
i’m panicking 😭
I was panicking too but I just ended up going intense red. 😳 I love the red though. I just couldn't walk around with greenish blue locs.
This is why I ended up here it turned mine blue 😫
Sorry this happened to you too. I am still trying to figure out how to get back blonde. I am thinking about bleaching it out later on this week.
A professional colorist or an experienced hairstylist is recommended. There is a color wheel and certain color cancel out another
so what color should we use
@@heyitsyaya red🤧
Put few drops red into the color you are using
I made this mistake too THE BACK OF THE BOX SAYS WILL NOT LIFT GREEN RED BLUE PURPLE OR PINK ❤
