@@Rell123q sometimes that’s ok. The fact 3-4 people are marking you means they know what you can do and that opens the game for someone else on your team. Keep up the work and let it motivate you to go harder in the next game.
@@Rell123q remember that you dont have to do everything by yourself, if there are 3-4 players on you take it as a sign to pass the ball, unless ur teammates are not opening up for the pass you will have atleast a few teammates completely unmarked

40 year old beginner here. I did this set a few times per week for 1 year and my control has improved tremendously. Once these movements become instinctual, I can sometimes dribble past 2 players without even thinking about it.

I got to say this , this workout is a gem. I felt I had good ball control and stamina only until i saw this and tried the drills. Got to practice this workout twice daily and I am sure it will do wonders to my control and confidence in the game , thanks to the real life scenario. Thanks for the video. As a beginner, I am going to just take one of each variation and do them in repetition till I get confident in each and then move on to doing this the way you did hopefully with more ball control and faster pace. They dont seem too terribly hard to follow as a complete beginner with basically hardly any ball control. Used to play as a kid but stopped and haven’t played for years since my hand broke.
What you are doing is one of the best ideas i have seen about training.Keep up the good work, slowly by slowly anyone can get better you just need to commitment to your schedule and be determined to practise and eventually you will reach height you never thought of before.

I coach Youth Soccer at the Y. I was never a strong player but want to encourage my youngest son who is a great player. Doing this has helped me improve my own skills tremendously and helping to demonstrate skills during practice with them siding 1v1 and 2v3…etc.

Man this was so hard. I couldn't do any of them without messing up and I did not understand how to do V exercise and 180 rotation + stopping on top and continuing with other foot. I also struggled very badly by using outside foot. Hecc 💀 This video made my realize how bad my ball control is 😊 I'll try to do this daily.

Great video. I played football after months and seemed to have lost my touch. After just a week of doing this, I significantly improved on the field. My confidence is sky high. Also because I do this indoors in a small room, it has helped me develop a soft touch.
I've been doing home kata for a few years. My influences are yoga, swords and basketball. I'm always looking for any parallels and I've never really touched on soccer. Looks like I just found my winter training guide. Maybe this might even inspire me to make my own footwork/basketball for footwork video.
The first drill here seems so easy, but keeping the ball in the centre line after every touch left and right is hard, it takes time to do this fast consistently without losing the ball to your front or back or jumping the ball up. Pretty good one.
These are great conditioning drills that place multiple demands on multiple muscle groups, that are essential to ball control. Excellent lesson. Thank you.

i saw the video with the 7 cones but i think this is more effective, not only it's more effective but it covers all the essential ways to control the ball so that if i want to do the cones i alreadyt have the footwork to do it

Is it fine to train like that at home barefoot like without football shoes but I play with football shoes but since I am at home I am doing with no football shoes or any boots just bearfoot does it improve the dribbling even without football shoes
@@unvess hey there. The drills definitely helped. I did them every day for 2 months and I’m noticeably more confident and coordinated on the ball. Still, nothing beats playing. They’re still good for warmups but once you’ve built up a level, playing consistently and ideally small-sided games will be 100% better for your development as a player
@@OmarAlkhatib-c8z no, these drills are a very isolated part of training. It will only improve your comfort with the ball. Even then, you won't be truly comfortable with actual playing. You need dynamic movements (actual game movements, pressure) to get better.
