40 year old beginner here. I did this set a few times per week for 1 year and my control has improved tremendously.
these drills are perfect for me. this is my first year and it perfectly draws out my weaknesses
Doing 2 sets in the morning before school and in the afternoon after school
Also doing 20 mins of juggling per day and cone dribbling drills, I will put number after the checkmark
(Will update improvements every week)
Day 1 - ✅ 9
Day 2 - ✅ 19
Day 3 - ✅ 21
Day 4 - ✅
@@Rell123q pass nd pull the defender away create a open space in the middle if ur free to take a shot shoot or hesitate and shoot or play a pass to the free space I think this would work da to pull the def away and playing tactically 😅
@@Rell123q sometimes that’s ok. The fact 3-4 people are marking you means they know what you can do and that opens the game for someone else on your team.
Keep up the work and let it motivate you to go harder in the next game.
@@Rell123q remember that you dont have to do everything by yourself, if there are 3-4 players on you take it as a sign to pass the ball, unless ur teammates are not opening up for the pass you will have atleast a few teammates completely unmarked
@@Rell123q hello I faced the same issue I did a bit of skill training at home and it actually helped me improve+you don't have to always dribble,look for empty spaces or do simple skills like la croqueta.Goodluck bro.

What you are doing is one of the best ideas i have seen about training.Keep up the good work, slowly by slowly anyone can get better you just need to commitment to your schedule and be determined to practise and eventually you will reach height you never thought of before.

Thanks for the video. As a beginner, I am going to just take one of each variation and do them in repetition till I get confident in each and then move on to doing this the way you did hopefully with more ball control and faster pace. They dont seem too terribly hard to follow as a complete beginner with basically hardly any ball control. Used to play as a kid but stopped and haven’t played for years since my hand broke.

I coach Youth Soccer at the Y. I was never a strong player but want to encourage my youngest son who is a great player. Doing this has helped me improve my own skills tremendously and helping to demonstrate skills during practice with them siding 1v1 and 2v3…etc.

In addition to clear instructions and example, your advice on the psychological side is valuable (work ethic, getting the ball back quickly after losing it etc.). I found this highly valuable for my work as a junior football coach without a strong player background.
Man this was so hard. I couldn't do any of them without messing up and I did not understand how to do V exercise and 180 rotation + stopping on top and continuing with other foot. I also struggled very badly by using outside foot. Hecc 💀

It also depends on your level atm, if ur intermediate it'll take more time to see significant improvement but if ur beginner, it'll take less time.

The only critic/alternate to this workout is the rest in-between.
Skills training for technical lifts, combat sports, and technical skills in sports don’t need to be HIIT.
You can take a minute or two in between to ensure better recovery to give a greater effort.
Not necessary, but I hope something to consider as people develop their explosiveness and technique mastery. Of course, I’m a stranger giving his 2 cents so feel free to obliterate my views.
