this video was around an hour so i did cut in to 2 videos the next episode will be publish in few days, if you got any questions about the gear or what so ever pls let me know / Peyman 😊
Welcome to Finland, Lapland is a wonderful region. There are only a few dangerous animals in Finland / Lapland. Bear, Wolverine and Wolf are actually the only ones. Only one species of snake is poisonous. Tourism in Lapland is made challenging by the rapidly changing weather, especially if we are talking about winter and autumn. The water is clean and clear and almost always drinkable. Enjoy your trip. It is interesting to follow the tourism of Lapland through the eyes of another.
Apparently you have no clue what you are talking about. In Finnish lapland there are NO animals dangerous to human beings. Reindeer herders (& hunters) kill EVERY bear, wolf and wolverine they see so every one of those species is scared and run like a MF when they smell there's people near. It is the sad truth no one speaks out loud. People have been more of less trying to kill every predator here since the last ice age so if a bear, wolf or a wolverine wants to survive, it runs like hell if it smells a human being.
I thought it was Peyman's markings at the little spruce! Because, when you are Hungry, You're not suppose to carve a spoon, you end eating whatever is at the reach of a hand! There is saying In africa, when Peyman is lookin for food, hippos make space.
Those reindeer collars are normally not reflecting. The collar is for GPS-tracker. Reindeer herders can check from their phone, where their reindeer are.
Thanks. Indeed some does have, some doesn’t. Once in winter these reflecting ones saved my life and definitely reindeer’s life 😅. It was a close call, a bit north from Rovaniemi for me. Without those reflecting ones i would hit the animals since there was poor view because of a snow storm.
@@NomadsTrails They though that reflectors would decrease reindeer accidents, but actually it worked opposite way, because people started to believe that all reindeer has the reflectors and didn't watch out as well any more. Now days those reflectors are not so common anymore and they use non-reflecting collars for GPS trackers.
Summer bike trip to Kuressaare (biggest Estonian island) ? I hope one day I get a notification where you tour Finlands little brother Estonia too. edit: your buddy is chill hiking companion btw. wholesome dude.

Burley or one of the bicycle trailer companies needs to send you a product to test. I could make a big difference in your trips.

@@MarkusKiili this is good info thanks. Collars have found last years had no GPs. The GPS should be new also?
@@NomadsTrails GPS has been used for years. It’s just a small plastic block on a collar. I think that most people will not recognize it as a tracker.
