I have a asus vivobook pro 15 with 2 ssd slots. 1tb came shipped with the laptop and i have an available slot. Asus says i can only put 2tb on each slot. Is this true or can I put a 4tb? Its pcie gen4x4
To determine the maximum SSD capacity supported by your ASUS Vivobook Pro 15, I recommend checking the official laptop manual or upgrade guide, which is available on the ASUS support website. If ASUS specifies a 2TB limit per slot, it is advisable to follow that recommendation for optimal performance and compatibility. However, PCIe Gen4x4 slots technically support higher capacities like 4TB, but exceeding the specified limit might not be officially supported and could potentially affect stability. Double-check the manual or consult ASUS support for confirmation before upgrading.
