I am 76yrs old but I still want to keep on riding, I sold my last motorcycle because it was a bit too much for me to handle. But, looking at these bikes, I think I can still squeeze in a few more years of riding before I go for my last ride into the sunset 🌅 😅thanks for a great video. Be safe and enjoy riding!
@@BackDraftBikes I'm a 76 year-old American living in the mountainous northern Thailand city of Chiang Mai and own this beautiful bike. Get it on back roads filled with curves and hills and it's a dream. Thanks for the great review.
I have a 23 Meteor 350 Fireball Red. I have around 1000 miles on it and I love it. I never get out on the interstate, I only like riding on curvy country roads and here in eastern Kentucky we have those in abundance. This is the perfect bike for me.
Have the meteor 350cc myself, lovely, lovely bike but the look of the classic it's beautiful so wish I had that one, but the meteor really is a great bike.
Got mine last Wednesday. As soon as I started on the test ride, for me it was like finding the right puppy at the pound. The main drawback is the short service interval. Apparently that goes across the whole R.E. line. I guess I can live with that. It has no kick starter. The last time I had a bike like that was my CX500 back in the 80s. I'll probably just be riding it for the pleasure of riding. I have a Navi that's my grocery getter.
The Royal Enfield motorcyes in the 350cc class are perfect for the type of riding you see in this video as well as city riding. It's not designed for long, cross country touring, but it is capable of traveling down the interstate for a couple of exits. Be smart.😉👌🏽
Page 19 of the owner's manual only says air cooled but on the same page it says it takes 2.2 liters (2.3 quarts) of oil sooooo it's got to be playing a part somewhere.... BTW, there is supposedly a bolt on oil cooler available aftermarket.
Mine was disappointingly slow from new but having carefully run it in i serviced it at 1200 miles and started to use it with a bit more intent and to be honest its still getting better at 1600 miles and is pretty peppy on all but the fastest roads , it’s restricted electronically to just over 70 mph but having worked out how its restricted i seen a whisker under 90 so will be chasing that rainbow as in making a tidy and professional job of it if i cant find a pro re map for it though i suspect that once sales have started to slow we should see people start to come to market with a re chip for them

What is the service interval, may I ask?
@@DarkElfDiva Basic service starts at 500 miles and goes 3K intervals or every 6 months.
@@postal_the_clown The manual says 300 miles.

Here in Uk 🇬🇧
Yes..i think not enough Power...nothing for Mountain Roads... nothing for Highway Roads..or? 😏
Why does everyone say these are air/oil cooled? I don’t see an oil cooler anywhere.

oil passages go around the head and back down to the crank so only cooled by wind when riding.
