- The goal of this video is to give helpful information to other Audi R8 V8 owners. I have noticed that there is little information out there on R8 V8 mods, I hope to change that by reviewing the modifications I have made to my car.

Thanx man! It's a Non resonated exhaust from Eurowise. Best sounding exhaust for the price, links in my description.
can you post a video of the exhaust noise during up and down shifts. also with high revs. I want to know if it crackles and pops like all the new cars that are being released.
I actually dont have that exhaust any more. My buddy put it on his R8. My car is now supercharged and the straight pipes plus the supercharger was a little to much for me.
Have you run any 0-60 tests on stock vs ECU+TCU?
I actually haven’t, because the car is now RWD it’s challenging to get a good launch. But I have a few friends who have the same car untuned, I should do a pull with them and see what happens.
What is the difference between the v10 and v8 sideblades? I see you have that in your mod lists
Dowy Durward the side blades are a lot bigger so more air can go into the intakes
Side blades, v10 has wider rear and front bumper, v10 has different vents on the bumpers which are more exposed for a more aggressive look. The entire car itself is actually wider to fit the bigger v10 motor.
ℹ dream of modifying my r8 but I am happier the way it is I have modified my gti and things go wrong with the reliability and drivability and it brings the cost up and then you not satisfied and then put money 💰 to go faster then the tickets 🎫 come in 😢 so I like to drive fast but ya no mods maybe rims lol 😂

Just the usual process. On R8’s its kind of a bitch. You need to remove the bumper, inner brace, heat shield, and finally the old exhaust. Its like a 4 hour job
How does the R-Tronic compare to the SMG in your previous M6? I mean Tuned vs tuned.
It is alot smoother than SMG. My old m6 was a 6spd manual but iv driven tons of SMG m5 and m6s
Did it give you a check engine light for the exhaust ?
No check engine light, its a brake pad sensor. I put new brakes in and got a faulty sensor.
What did you mod to make the trans smoother?

how much hp is it making in this vid ?
hey I actually have never had the car on a dyno. But if every one is being truthful about the gains on line then lets say 420 to start with, plus 20 hp for the tune and 25 hp for the exhaust. so lets call it around 465 ish Horsepower.

What's the difference between the ECU and TCU tune? Or.. why bother with the TCU at all?
B Gard ECU = engine control unit. TCU = transmission control unit.

Ultraman it did for mine a very little bit but that was when it was pared up with straight pipes
Anson I got the tune from VF, and after working with them and 3 tunes later I got the exhaust overrun. It sounds awesome

Anson I’m not sure which brand it is, it was on the car when I bought it. I do know it’s a titanium straight pipe loud as hell on a cold start up!

I dont know to be honest. Slightly faster than a 2008 corvette grand sport with a tune and exhaust 😂
