You guys need to do the Mt Saint Helen's story regarding after the eruption and finding Big foot killed and injured ones and rescued them and communicating with them and help relocating Bigfoot new location to live @. The story is out there with truth and more details involved. TY
AJ, thank you. Since I was diagnosed with cancer my life has really taken a turn. Your shows take me away for a little while. Removes the misery from the moment. Thank you for your hard work and all your shows man, I really enjoy and appreciate you. Much Love Honor and Respect from Detroit.
Hang in there! I’m cancer free for 19 years in June. Treatments were really rough, but binge watching Why Files should help pass the time & give you a few laughs. Sending you prayers from Oregon.😊🙏❤️🩹💪
I’m sorry. Getting a cancer diagnosis is scary. Keep yourself busy like you’re doing. Watch and read funny, positive stuff like WF? Is perfect. I found that the treatment nurses and the upbeat positive patients you see during treatment really help. Reminds you you’re not alone in your fight. It’s good that you share and talk about it. I’ll keep you in my prayers. My sister had a grim diagnosis 10 years ago and today she’s fine. You got this!!
I’m from WA state. People unfamiliar with the PNW cannot fathom how vast and remote the forests are. In fact, in central WA, a 10 minute drive into the foothills, followed by a 20 minute hike puts you where there are no roads, trails, or cell service. Growing up, my group of friends camped quite often, and during winter, would ride snow mobiles in those areas. I remember one time, about dusk, I stopped my snow mobile because I was having carburetor issues. I pulled out my flashlight and as I was shining it toward the engine, I saw huge foot prints in the snow, running perpendicular to my track. About 4-5 feet between prints. At first, I thought maybe my friends were pranking me, but I was leading our group. And we were far off any known trails. If someone was hoaxing, they would’ve had no idea if people would ever actually see those prints. Not saying they 100% exist, just saying that wilderness is VAST.
Sadly so true. People think Washington state is fake if they don't live on the West Coast. But you can walk into the Olympic national forest and never find your way out.
I know you're skeptical on Big Foot, and I don't blame you. I personally had an encounter with the creature years ago, so my mind is clear on the issue, but I can't impart my experience to another to convince them. Still, you did an honorable job conveying both sides of the debate, and I appreciate it.
Worth the wait. Don’t let any of these “fans” demand anything of you. Your own sanity and health is the main priority. Keep doing what you’re doing. Big love from the UK.
Bob Gymlan , different than the guy who filmed patty, breaks down really well why alot of photos are blurry. His channel is the best, the best when it comes to bigfoot anything.
I'm an outdoorsperson in the southern Rockies who has spent a lot of time in wilderness areas here. I've seen 16-18" barefoot human-like footprints, heard screams and whoops deep in the forest at night exactly the same as these recordings, have known and spoken to many other people who have seen bigfoots, even emergency officials in a helicopter who saw a family of them running through the forest below trying to escape a wildfire. These things exist. I don't know what they are, but they are real. Thank you AJ for the work you do.
They're called ferals.. pot growing ferals living off grid. I spent a couple years out there doing the same decades ago.. I wasn't the only one.. the women tend to be more hairy than the men😂
What are the chances that there is an entire subspecies of an intelligent ape species existing in remote pockets of forests, surrounded by civilization - these apes being just about intelligent enough to not leave any fossil or geological records, and only willing to make themselves briefly visble to people with either only 144p potato cameras and / or vaseline smeared across their lenses? 😂 Occams razor. The more likely explanation is that the tentative "evidence" for the existence of these things are either the product of hoaxsters or just misinterpretations by genuinely well meaning people. Like it or not, people tend to want to gravitate towards the fantastical and extraordinary. Hear something weird in the woods or see some funny lights in the sky and the first thought is Bigfoot and aliens instead of howler monkeys or drone tomfoolery 😂 It is what it is.
@@Danboi.No, they are a species known as the "Great North American Backyard Mechanic". They tend to be hairier than most, stalky, and communicate with grunts and gestures. Always be wary of one that's loose in the wild, if not properly intoxicated they can become extremely hostile and are unpredictable. If attacked, throw a valve cover in his direction and tell him it's what's causing your leak. He will diagnose the issue giving you time to escape to safety.
Kinda blows my mind how your channel is so far surpassed million dollar television networks. I appreciate your free, educational, quality content. Your recognition is well deserved, and im curious to how this will effect the entertainment institutions.
I wonder why this will "effect the entertainment institutions"? The WF is a great channel, I'm also a big fan, but there are hundreds of others too, if not thousands...
AJ-I just watched your heart to heart video in the why files backstage. We understand what you’re dealing with and it’s OK bud . Take the time you need to get better We WIll Be Here waiting. We ain’t going anywhere this is the best channel on TH-cam hands down. I will wait 6 months for next episode if that’s what u need. I’ll hate every minute of it will be worth it. These topics you cover are. My favorite stories to watch. As great as the stories are it’s you that makes this channel what it is. You’re brilliant and a tremendously talented and charismatic individual. Hell I didn’t even like hecklefish at first but he has grown on me like a venereal wart..thank you for all your hard work my friend I’m a subscriber for life you’re stuck with me! Be well my friend see ya soon,
So fun fact; there is actually 2 sasquatch in the Patty film. The video is longer then where you see it cut off on most versions like this one showed. She ends up walking up this massive side of a mountain of fallen trees and debris. As she is walking up the side of the mountain another one (male) is shown. They both end walking up the mountain and then the film ends. Pretty crazy actually.
You know what one of my favorite thing about your channel and videos is? The ad placement isn’t in some random place cutting of mid sentence like most. They’re placed specifically in between segments. The content of course is the best; but I’m hugely grateful for reliably predictable “commercials breaks”.
I would love for you to do the huderfolk or "hidden people*, essentially fae lore from all over the world would be amazing. I've always thought the stories were fascinating. Fae aren't like Disney fairies either, they're like goblins, gnomes, leprechauns and so many other creatures. I feel like the Why Files is one of the few things that could do the topic justice.
I was a Bigfoot skeptic for years, but upon seeing a clear unobstructed foot print miles from anywhere, where I had the chance to examine it closely, I became convinced. First, the size was 19.5 inches long, 6 inches at the ball of the foot and 5.5 at the heal. Using displacement of our jeep tires (since my 230 lbs weight was not sufficient for comparison.) I was able to determine the force necessary to make the print exceeded 1000 lbs of pressure. There were many interesting aspects to the anatomical nature of the print, but the most interesting aspect was the complex epidermal ridges throughout the entire print. I just can't see anyone faking that. And if they did why spend that kind of time doing it in a place few if any would visit in the short time that it would last?
@@1001011011010 a good point. But it was sandy soil next to a steam bed, wet sand can resist pressure better than dry sand. No doubt the moisture made the track clearer but I don’t think it made it significantly less resistant.
I lived in Puerto Rico during these events, as a young kid I lost sleep over this thing lol. I lived in the next town from Canóvanas the area where it was, every single morning the news was reporting on it. I remember people that got close to this thing said it had a horrible smell it was the first sign it was near by. It was not mentioned in this video, but a cop shot something one morning and this whole thing stopped.
I lived in el barrio Santa Cruz in Carolina and we saw things, creepy things at night, especially in the backyard near our green banana and mango trees, noises, strange cold winds, strange lights, and awful smells. I hated living there. Always gave me the creeps. As soon as I was up age, I moved from my parents’ house. Mind you, I love nature. Couldn’t feel safe there at all.
For real, this show is the best. I gave up TV in the early 2000's and I am very selective about the content (and quality there of) that I consume. Yet alas, I just caught myself telling my 4yo, "not now, im watching my show!"
I gave up on TV about the same time, probably a bit more mid to late 2000's. There is NOTHING I'm committed to watching anymore, save this show and a few others on TH-cam. There are streaming things I'm interested in but I can't bring myself to be bothered to make time for it anymore. If I'm not watching TH-cam I'm on my Xbox playing Forza or Starfield or whatever.
@@centralscrutinizer6108I gotta ask... Are you still playing Forza? I can't find anything worth doing anymore. Really hoping they offer open track day soon. Best thing about FM7! Also, add another to the "doesn't watch television anymore." Nothing worthwhile.
To the son of the fan who took her last breath while watching The Why Files, you have my sympathies. I’m glad to know your mom was smiling when she passed, and that you were there holding her hand. I hope you stick around and join the community. It’s honestly great.

AJ and Hecklefish (WF’s), one of the best shows on the internet! I actually enjoy the bit of “bring it back to reality” type skepticism at the end of each program. And Hecklefish IS A TREASURE! Love the show, the comedy, the investigative skepticism but enjoy the “leave it up to you” format! Keep them coming!
i’ve probably commented this before but i have to say it again. MY FAVORITE THING ABOUT THIS CHANNEL IS THAT YOU CARE ABOUT THE TRUTH AND GIVING A BALANCED PERSPECTIVE WHILE LETTING US DECIDED FOR OURSELVES ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for covering the Chupacabra case in my country (Chile). I was a kid in that time but the chaos that created that story was very real. Everyday in my school we talked about hearing things during night, strange dog howls, weird noises and stuff like that, what an amazing time that was. We have a lot of UFO stories, like Friendship Island and a lot of sightings while the 2015 september and 2010 february.
I’m Puerto Rican, born and raised, and was 10 years old when the chupacabra situation was going on. I’m not going to say that is was true or not, but there’s one problem with the reason given to debunk the chupacabra story: There are no coyotes in Puerto Rico, or any similar type of animals. Except for stray dogs. There are lots of those. 😂 Regardless, I love this episode. Keep up with the great work!
Coyotes are technically wild dogs at least genetically.... A pack of "domesticated" wild/stray dogs could be mis-identified as coyotes to the average human...
I can tell you this that seven seas apart in a remote town in Pakistan north we had a similar story of this animal cryptid called Chupacabra. This story emerged all of a sudden as far as I know but years later as I became interested in the myths and urban legends I searched the internet for these myths and found out about Chupacabra. Now the time I am talking about is way before internet existed in Pakistan like it does now. So now I am wondering that this story might have travelled but then they coined a word for it which is a rare occurence for a language that isn't that common either. At that time we thought people are just taking about Hyenas or coyotes.
I too love stepping out of my life to watch your shows. You have a great formula and the entertainment is 100%. Keep up the great work, you are making TH-cam history that will live forever.
Wish you’d do more on Sasquatch alone!!! AJ- thank you so much for all the shows you do!!! If I haven’t watched em, I plan to. Right down my alley and you get to the meat on it all. I just love this show more than any other I watch on here!!! You’re the best!!!!❤
I would watch movie-length episodes! Your episodes are more interesting and detailed than documentaries. Plus, the added humor and hecklefish just adds more elements to what makes this the best channel out there by FAR! Thank you so much for the hard work and countless hrs of research you put into every episode. It was a pleasant surprise seeing you in ancient aliens btw!!!! Fantastic
@@JSp4wN haha ancient aliens used to be a ok show for the first year or so. Now it's went way way retarded with the conspiracy's that they don't even make sense. It's bad
I'm from Puerto Rico. In the year 2001 my niece was born. My mom was so hyped she saw it almost everyday even though she lived a bit far from us. By that time my dad bought a small bunny in "El Festival de las Flores" I never had one before so in my mind it was completely annoying having to go watch the baby when all I wanted to do was play with my bunny. My dad made a pretty big cage for it and my mom even made a pillow for it to sleep, the holes on the cage where very very small so no big animals could actually get inside. One night we arrived from my sister's home and the bunny was laying flat on the cage. I ran to it and to my horror she was dead and full of what appeared to be puncture wounds. There was absolutely no blood on the area, when we tried to take the body out of the cage she was completely dry and I always say the best description I could give of the body is when you take a newspaper get it all wet and then dry it in the sun. We always say she was attacked by the chupacabras because it's the only thing that appeared to bypass fences and cages. It's the first time I share this story because here on the island people think you are making things up if you say something like that.
@KevinRivera-zq9gk Wow. I must say I don't believe in aliens,Bigfoot and all that stuff but sometimes you kinda wonder what the heck happened? I must say I was extremely impressed by such thing and still remember it clearly. The way her body was flattened, her eyes really wide like she had seen the devil or something the many holes in her body all very clean with not a drop of blood... very eerie stuff
AJ, from the bottom of my heart to yours; take care of yourself, you are loved and appreciated. You have a gift and like many gifted it takes a toll. Rest, recover, and revel. You've earned it. You can space content and diversify. You could just do comedy shorts to fill space every now an again and it would be a hit. We all will be here.

I live on the banks of Loch Ness close to Boleskine House and have seen many astonishing things. Over the years i have come to the conclusion that i do not want mainstream science to confirm the existence of the species. I take the view that we would only treat it the way we do our natural wildlife, with murderous contempt and therfore it would be far better left alone to myth and legend.
@@TheWhyFilesthere is a Sasquatch video on TH-cam titled: "Bigfoot (Almasty) Caught On Tape In Russia 2015". It is the best footage I've seen other than the Patterson-Gimlin film. I was wondering if y'all have seen it and what your thoughts are on it. I think it's impossible for a person to move like that in the woods esp in a monkey suit and I don't think it could be done with CGI. Its frame looks to me more like a chimp than a gorilla but it is WAY bigger than a chimp.
@@justinhenriksen I think it was a reference to private/Us government funded labs in other countries to escape US regulations and practices on experimental things(vaccines, organism, tech, etc). In February of 2018, I was attending a university on Michigan’s west side. Our campus had these expansive hiking trails and deep woods that would go into the next counties over. My friends and I hiked every single day and would party in the woods. This one time we were hiking in the afternoon after class, it was a warmer winter day so we were on a long hike, down a ravine and were walking in this valley/ravine between the hills. There was snow on the ground but it wasn’t fresh and as the day was nice, it was beginning to melt the snow left . When were walking in the ravine at one point I looked down and noticed a HUGE barefoot footprint in the ice. My friends and I all stopped and literally had no words for what we were looking at. It was a huge foot and I was thinking who is walking around barefoot in the snow?? You could even see the toe impressions. We all took pictures of it and I even have a photo of my foot inside of the print, you can clearly tell it’s abnormally taller and wider than a human foot, i’m a size 9 in women’s and it dwarfed my foot. I wish I could post photos of it on here because it looks IDENTICAL to the footprint castings shown in this video!!! Even before this incident, my friends and I had really weird things go on in these woods, like one time without even saying something to eachother we all felt that something was watching us from the trees and we all got up and ran out of the woods simultaneously. Another time my one friend even swears she saw a large figure leap from one tree to another. We even wrote notes and put it in our wallets saying “if you find this, I was killed by a yeti”, sounds crazy but that’s how terrified and convinced we were of what we saw and felt. Later on, I looked up yeti sightings near me and sure enough the exact county I was in had a pinpoint of sightings in the woods where I was.

Most outstanding channel on TH-cam. I'm a veteran viewer of In Search Of... and Unsolved Mysteries and The Why Files is the most interesting and comprehensive show dealing with odd, mysterious stories. The depth of thought and effort that goes into each episode is immediately evident. Nowhere else have I ever seen such a variety of interesting stories covered. There is no better storyteller than AJ. The debunking is essential but does not dampen the stories. The debunking is absolutely necessary and only adds credibility. Great work!!
There is an alleged Loch Ness type creature in Lake Champlain (NY/VT) called Champy. Allegedly, a few years ago a man and his father were fishing Lake Champlain and made a video of Champy when it surfaced. Thank you for another great episode.

I have had 4 different Close Encounters with Bigfoot/Sasquatch in 1989 - 1990. They happened shortly after moving to Southern Illinois in late 1987. I had spent my prier 17 years of living in the Mojave Desert in Southern California. I was not looking for bigfoot. It was the furthest thing from my mind at the time. I was just exploring the wilderness in Southern Illinois or fishing. They are 100% real. I had one run 20 ft away from me. I found several (40 - 50+) 18 inch long foot prints that looked just like a mans. Around 18 in long and around 7 1/2 to 8 in wide. I had one come in the water after me & even had one follow me for 3.5 Miles down a road at night. None of them wanted to harm me. The one that came in the water after my friend and I while we were fishing in a boat at night time , just wanted to be left alone & ran us off! P.S. this might sound ridiculous , I believe the reason we do not have better footage of these creatures is because some of them, if not all ? are part Supernatural. The cause Electronics to malfunction and even become invisible in front of people. The invisibility I've seen with my own eyes! The interfering with electronics , I have not seen or experienced personally. I have only heard stories on how to hunt Channel.
I walked the entire length of Loch Ness through the forests and foothills. Its VAST and deeper than the North Sea. It took me 2 days to cover it from Inverness to Fort Augustus. Its actually connected to the sea from Inverness. It would be easy for a population of creatures to live in the deep and come and go from the ocean.
In Washington State the natives have a creature called Ogo Pogo that uses an cave network to travel between three huge lakes. Lake Okanagan on the Canadian border, Omak lake, and lake Chelan.
I live in Central Florida where I'm renovating an older home. I've hired a female at times to help me, who lives more out in the country - far from housing developments or homes. She / her family owns quite a bit of land that has a large lake. While she works on my home we talk. She shared how she has seen these beings walk across her property, near her lake. She has seen entire families, adults with children - covered with hair / no clothing, walking across her land just like the video you've shown here. She also commented that, even though they were a bit far away, she could 'smell' them - kind of foul. I've also heard reports that beings like these live abundantly in the Everglades in South Florida. That people who live there, isolated, often leave food outdoors to feed them. The homeowner sees them coming up to their home after dark to eat the food that was left outside for them. I guess, kind of like raccoons. Very large raccoons.

I was in Ocean Shores, WA at the Quinault Casino some years back, and there was a Bigfoot convention that weekend. My girlfriend and I were sitting at a blackjack table with a couple of the cryptozoologists from the convention. The dealer was a women in her 30s from the local Quinault tribe. She said her people had many encounters with Bigfoot and it was an established part of their culture. She said she was disappointed with the convention because they never included her people's experiences, which were very much first hand (unlike those of all the convention attendees).
Late 90s early 2000s I lived in Ocean shores Wa. There was a mysterious LOUD native drum coming from the entrance woods at night for weeks. Police got involved and everything, nothing was ever solved or figured out though. Strange place to grow up.
I spoke with an Indigenous man a few years ago in Northern NSW and he told me there were three kinds of Yowie (you may remember that's what they are called in Aus.) I don't remember the details any more but they are different sizes and I think one was quite friendly. For him there was no question but that they exist.
@Logan.Ninefingers that's right. They had different names in the different languages of the first nation tribes of Australia. There are books by Percy Trezise and Dick Roughsey that mention the three kinds of cryptids calling them Quinkins. Here is a quote from the book, Tarramuli the Giant Quinkin. 1982. "...Quinkins, those sometimes good, but nearly always bad, spirits who roamed the Wild bushland. The good quinkins, called Timara, were tall and thin. The evil Imjim were short and fat. They balanced about on knobbed tales and stole children. But most dangerous of all was Turramuli the giant, whose name meant thunder."
@@Logan.Ninefingers So friendly no one can get in what on camera or video despite hunters, hikers, and outdoorsman being around constantly and allegedly having experiences. I think the "Natives" were tripping balls. It's not like they don't have other beliefs in their culture that aren't absurd.

You can hear Bigfoot while camping in Washington. My aunt and uncle go deer hunting in Winthrope, WA which is very remote forest land. When they were getting ready for the night, the forest went quiet. They thought it was strange. And then they heard it. The famous bigfoot "Whoop" yelling. It was coming from deeper in the forest. Then they heard it east and west. In all directions. Then the whoops got closer and closer. Frightened, my grandpa pointed his rifle in the air and let off a round. The whoops stopped, thene turned to a kind of chatter. He let off another round, they heard rustling and then the whoops stopped. They packed up the next morning lol
I live in Washington and have heard the whoops next to St Helens in Cougar. I'm in tri cities right now and most of the stories here come from the Blue Mountains. You see for years I never knew what I had heard for ten years or more. Not until I listened to the sierra sounds then my hair stood up and I knew. I live here in Washington and so do the Sasquatch the end😊
I'm stunned that people think that Bigfoot and Nessy are real. Never found the bones of a Bigfoot yet they're spotted EVERYWHERE, and apparently Nessy lives forever
Regarding the Loch Ness monster. When I was a teen, I read a bit about it and was really fascinated. Once I even dreamed about it. i was swimming the lake and saw it coming out of a underwater cave. You mentioning the caves in the lake reminded me of that. What is odd thought, is the fact that this is the first time hearing of such a possibility. Dreams are weird, man.
I am from europe, I grew up in heavy forested area, small village, nothing extremely remote, but huge forest. My great-grandfather was telling me stories when I was like 5-6 y/o and I was always thinking nothing of it, but he was very serious about it. He was always telling to never follow whistles in a forest, never to follow a deer who is alone and never walk fields alone in summer noon. I still remember all the stories.
I was camping in the rocky mountains when at sundown I heard something that I couldn't explain. It was a very loud howl/scream that lasted a long time. It echoed through the valley. It was amazing. Whatever it was, it had an incredible lung capacity. I've heard elk, deer, bear, Moose, wolves, coyotes etc, but none of those sounded like this thing. It was soooooo cool. Eerie, but cool.
As I mentioned, it was a very long howl/scream. It lasted longer than any human could. It had a huge lung capacity. Mountain lion calls are very short.
Especially since some state government (Tennessee I think, but I'm nit sure) actually just proposed a bill of some sort that would 'ban them from the skies" or some nonsense. It says ""The intentional injection, release, or dispersion, by any means, of chemicals, chemical compounds, substances, or apparatus within the borders of this state into the atmosphere with the express purpose of affecting temperature, weather, or the intensity of the sunlight is prohibited," . I'm not kidding. They actually think that bs is real.
Regarding Bigfoot, there was supposed to be DNA evidence that David Pallides covered. Also the two campers that caught the voices of Bigfoot talking. Loved the topic, feel free to do a volume 2 of more cryptids.
The scientist that did the DNA study is Melba Ketchum. Bigfoot is not a primate. Bigfoot is a human hybrid. The DNA shows Human Female mother and Father of unknown origins. The Patty film is of a real Bigfoot. She has muscle bulge, real breasts, a torn muscle in her thigh. Bigfoot can manipulate our new camera technology. Bigfoot has supernatural abilities. They can make cameras fuzzy and malfunction. The best way to get clear photos of Bigfoot is by using old technology camera like the 8mm which is what P&G used for the Patty film. Check out MK Davis breakdowns of Patty film and he also has footage of a giants handprint in the Lovelock cave. BTW Bigfoot is Nephilim of the Bible and Aliens are interdimensional demons and fallen angels. The "aliens" impregnate human women and that's how Bigfoot came about which is exactly how Nephilim are made. Angel and human woman.
@@johnengelbert9904why? All that dude does is read obviously fake and made up stories emailed to him and then tell you how great he thinks he is for ten minutes.
Fun fact: my father used to spend summers at loch ness helping the scientists search for nessie when he was young. My grandfather (dad's dad), saw nessie once. We had family friends in the area and when he was walking one night he was near the water and he saw it rise up out of the water. He shat himself and ran the rest of the way back. My grandfather was not a fantastical man, he told the truth and i believe him. If you ever get to go, please do, even just for the castle and the landscape, its beautiful. It does have an info centre all about the science expeditions. Mum said when she was young you could run all over the place and it was free, now theres fences and quite expensive to get a ticket for entry to the castle and surrounding grounds. So we drove down the road a tiny way, parked on the side of the road and i walked down to the shore to the water. Even if you see nothing, its worth going just to see, especially when its free.
Hey AJ just wanted to say how much I appreciate your videos. Take the time you need for you, you make great content and we appreciate YOU. Hope you take care of yourself and know your viewers support you.
I have a very close friend who is a big foot hunter, he’s been hunting big foot all over the US for decades. My friend says that either big foot is really REALLY good at hiding, or he doesn’t exist. But… He also says that people are seeing something.. some of the first hand accounts he’s been told are EXTREMELY compelling. Often, these people are reluctant to tell their story for fear of being labeled crazy, but when they do tell, they are absolutely sure of what they saw, and often quite frightened of what they experienced. Now I’m not sure if big foot exists or not, but I like to keep an open mind. I hope he exists. And I do believe that these people saw something.. what is that something? Who knows? Great video as always AJ and why fam! Love all you guys! ❤
Sasquatch ate real and like other higher dimensional beings, they naturally vibrate faster than people can perceive. But they can drop into 3d. Sasquatch and other beings are telepathic and some types think we are the tasty dumb animals who need to be controlled. We all need to stop trying to harvest each other and learn to get along. Or, we’ll all get kicked off the planet.
Although the first Sasquatch I met was more interested in sharing a snack with me, I have met other telepathic Sasquatch people who were nice. We need to stop treating our cosmic cousins like stuffed trophies and learn to get along. They care about their homes, families and communities. We can show all the higher dimensional entities that we are more than dumb minded animals who need their ‘help’ to curb our population issues if we just stand together and decide we are ready for peace between all species.
Something like that did exist. Question is if they still exist. Just like Hobbits, they were fake until recently. Not mythical just an off shoot of humanity that was really damn short.
@@nexusdrop7863 FYI: All kinds of 'stuff' still exists. I have a scar on my arm from a poison arrow of the little people. (I got an antidote.) And, I have chomp scars from an 8 ft mythical something that isn't supposed to exist. So, I believe. But, to each his or her own!
@@leahseim6635 There is objective proof of something living long ago that was about 8 feet tall. Just like Lock Ness there are bones of creatures that fit the description. Point being there is a lot of evidence those exist. The question is if they STILL exist. That was my point.
This is the best channel I've ever come across on TH-cam. And I watch a lot of stuff on here. Even the creativity and effort you put in to your sponsorships, is applause worthy. Keep up the excellent and entertaining work!
Bigfoot is real. I've seen 2 in Yacolt, Washington. I played with one in my sand box behind the barn. It was a juvenile. I offered it my Tonka truck when it squatted in font of me in the sandbox. It was a lot bigger than me and I wanted to be nice so it wouldn't take me away. My dad was a logger and my mom's side of the family are native American, so I knew of Bigfoot at a young age. It was covered with black hair, with what seemed to be blueish eyes. I think it was a girl, because as it squatted I didn't see anything a boy would have between its legs. I was young boy so that's something I took into consideration. After a couple minutes of showing it my toy and how it worked, it looked into the tree line, I followed its gaze and a bigger one was in the trees. It didn't make any sounds, but it's eyes seemed to change color from a blueish, to yellow, to red, and then moved deeper into the trees and the one in the sandbox got up and walked into the forest and disappeared. Just then my mom called me from the house. She asked me where I was and I told her I was in the sandbox playing with the monkey girl and my Tonka trucks. She turned pale white and told me to get inside and not to tell anyone about what I saw. Bigfoot is real
When we are young what we see gets jumbled with what we hear from people. I have a vivid memory of talking to a green haired monkey person when I was young. It was real, I remember it clearly. Years after it happened I talked about with my older siblings and they said they used to make an Oscar the grouch puppet talk to me. I still have the vivid memory of the green haired friend but after reading about how minds develop and memory I understand that it was my siblings playing.
Another great episode, especially for someone who doesn't like cryptids! I had always heard the Patterson-Gimlin Bigfoot was a guy in a suit, but when I saw presumably the same analyzation of the film when stabilized, I started to believe. There are a ton of reasons to be skeptical, though. The big one for me is - where are the bones? I'm hoping that one day, deep in woods that are seldom touched by humans, a bigfoot graveyard will be found.
You do realize people in certain cultures and religions eat the bones and all when they eat meat? Maybe bigfoot has evolved to eat other bigfoot to dispose of any evidence . Or maybe they just bury them, and they rot away like human bones would
There are some that say that bigfoot is actually a window faller from another dimension and that sightings of this being only occur while the creature is temporarily occupying our physical dimension. That explanation can also explain why we find no droppings, living areas or nests, etc.
My wife was the lone American on the most recent expedition for the Loch Ness monster, and she was quoted in the local & international media after the end of the search. She was going to Scotland on a trip to tour the Highlands, and saw an ad about the expedition for the Loch Ness monster, and was able to purchase a ticket, thinking it would be a fun diversion, not knowing it turned into a media circus, and that she would be interviewed and later quoted. She had an absolute blast!
that's because the week before, Japanese scientests explaced... placed explosive detonators at the bottom of Lake Loch Ness to blow Nessie out of the water. And then Sir Cort Godfrey of the Nessie Alliance summoned the help of Scotland's local wizards to cast a protective spell over the lake and its local residents. The media probably had heard about that
I went swimming in Loch Ness back in September. We even took a charter boat out with sonar hunting for nessie, but didn't see anything. It was still an amazing experience to swim in the most famous Loch in the world.
Have you heard about Boleskine Manor ? Home to the late occultist Aleister Crowley no less, on the shores of Loch Ness. It's abandoned now the last I heard, (some You Tube vids about this place ) . One story doing the Scottish circuit is that Crowley himself summoned up the ' monster' in one of his many rituals.
In the book "Apprenticed to the Himalayan Master", Author ShriM wrote, when he was exploring deeper into the Himalayas, he acquired deadly fever, and he was going to die within 2-3 days. But while he was resting on bed half conscious, in a small hut in those mountain ranges, and other people were out, something came into the room, having same body as a Yeti, long furry body, with creating a peculiar high pitch sound. It put some herbs into Shri M's mouth and went away hastly. Within a few hours, he revived and other people came and told that it was a Yeti who is helpful towards human, but really shy to come in front of them.
The yogi and guru tell of experiences that no scientists or a large number of the populace in the west would ever believe without having witnessed it themselves, or having some organic part or pieces of the event to disassemble under a microscope before it can be accepted as real. I personally think that some of those things are possible to those who have dedicated their lives to those practices. Or I just wish to believe that miraculous things are possible, even if I am not a witness to them, just to think that they are happening.
@@Thesaurcery4U2C These experiences are nothing. In book Aghora by Dr. Robert Svoboda, things got really wild. And yes, they dedicate their whole life for something, but if you want to get some experience beyond the ordinary, just a few months or a year of intense sadhana is enough.
@@ratnasambhav5066 The whole culture is new to me, and it seems to be very old and complexed, and very intriguing. I read Autobiography of a Yogi about 2-3 years ago, and that was quite something listening to the descriptions of the things witnessed. I have since watched several documentary's and such on the subject, but I know no one personally who knows anything, or could steer me in a way of practices for myself. Living in the US, being 54 yrs. old, Christianity was an off and on part of my life (in practice) for the first 30 years or so. I would still consider a very personal part of it stayed with me, but It never felt like there was anything to learn or take part in just by attending.

I particularly enjoyed the history of Bigfoot sightings and the investigative approach towards these mythical creatures. It's fascinating to see how many claims there are, yet concrete evidence seems scarce.
He's left out a lot of the photos and recorded sounds from them too. Bob Gymlan (youtuber) has most of these on his channel and does his best, as an amateur, to debunk them. The recorded sounds are harder to debunk, especially the on location ones. Best pic or video is the Myakka Skunk Ape take from an elderly woman. I don't remember the title of Bobs video with the screaming but the most popular scream is the "japanese chatter".
Concrete evidence actually does exist, but "evidence" isn't "proof." Doesn't matter how much evidence you have; nothing short of a body on a slab will convince academia to take the matter seriously. And if half the reports about these things are true, getting that body is damn near impossible due to how powerful in terms of raw strength and durability these things are, plus their intelligence.
@@odinaden. is that the one where it sounds like they’re having a conversation with each other and he responds? 😂 love it, I usually find it when I type in Bigfoot talking/conversation.
Just like with the Patterson gimlin case, it seems like the Bigfoot always put a heavy boundary of downed trees on the exterior of their lurking grounds. Finding the downed trees blocking the path is a huge Bigfoot sign! Great video AJ!
When I first seen the ad for your show I thought it was going to be a joke. But after I watched it you had me hooked and can’t get enough of it thank you for keeping up the great work and always being interesting.
Bigfoot needs to be given the nobel prize of the best player of hide and seek. Cause after decades and advance of cameras and phones, we still cannot find him.
@@realstatistician interesting- and yeah, the issue is that for sightings to go this far, it would mean that a family or group of Bigfoots must exist and that means increasing the sightings and more likely to be caught on camera. But like you proved with your story, it’s more interesting to believe in the boogie man than looking at actual facts.
see my biggest thing about bigfoot like stories is simply how wide spread they are before the we had the ability to converse so much/so easily. The yeti, the yeren, the yowie and quite a few more i find it to interesting that so many of our ancestors have stories of things like this before we started talking to each other seriously.
I was a little worried when the new episode didn't land on Thursday night as usual. Did the Government finally decide The Why Files was spilling too many beans? I wondered. Did Aliens find your exposés hitting just a little too close to their cloaked Earth bases? My paranoia quotient rocketed skyward with each passing day. I wasn't even considering the Knights Templar, or religious fanatics who might fear your debunking of ancient superstitions, or Black Ops with power-hungry generals who get all their leads from The Why Files and now want to OWN this great resource! Yes, I was certain SOMETHING paranormal/extraterrestrial/militarial had happened to your show and life had now lost its brightness....and then I found this episode and am back to being happy again in a world that makes a lot more sense with The Why Files in it. Thanks for another great episode!
I cant get over one video I've seen here on YT. It was recorded in recent years maybe a few years ago. The person captures a female carrying a baby and the baby moves it head and limbs. The female looked scared and tried fast to get away from the person recording. The way the body moves.. has always reminded me on the patterson bigfoot footage. I wouldn't be surprised if they did exist tbh.

@@BillsNz can't see a link, is the video on youtube? Have you seen that video of a pretty heavy looking tree being ripped from the ground and thrown?? That ones stuck with me too. Super weird.
I saw the Loch Ness monster once. One day, I believe it was July, I was in my living room watching TV when there was a knock at the door. I go and I open it and there's this cute little girl scout selling cookies. She had the pigtails and everything. I asked what she had. She had thin mints, them graham crunchy things, raisin oatmeal. I said let me get a box of graham crunch and I said how much will that be. She leaned over to me and said.... I'm a need about tree-fiddy. Well it was about that time I realized this girlscout was actually a 8 story tall crustecean from the Cenazoic era. Thats right it was the Loch Ness monsta! I said "DAMMIT MONSTA GET OFF MY LAWN! I AIN'T GIVING YOU NO TREE-FIDDY!" It said oh well how about just two-fiddy? I said "Oh now its just two-fiddy?! What is there a sale on Loch Ness muchies or something!?

My gf and I were scared awake by a growel/scream right outside our window at 3 am one summer night. I didn't know what a bigfoot scream was supposed to sound like. After looking up every kind of animal noise I could find I came across the "scream/howel" description and it fits perfectly. This wasn't in the woods tho. It was right in the middle of a smallish town. Wtf is one doing crossing roads and looking in windows in a southern town? I cant say what made that blood currdling noise tgat night. I can say ive never found any known animal noise that is even close. One major creepy thing is the scream/howel was like it came from a spot beside the window like a person was standing beside the window so they coukd lean over and peek in. It was about where my head is standing inside the house beside the window. Im 6'6 and outside the ground is two feet lower than the floor inside so... Whatever it was it had to be about 8'6. .. I dont sleep anywhere that isnt secure after that. Idk what it is/was but i know it wasnt a human or animal i know of.
How crazy that I was talking about a similar experience today. Me and an ex girlfriend were woken by a blood curdling most vicious witches cackle at around 3 am in the morning. Sounded like the thing had put its head through my window and was screaming from the inside. The most vicious evil sound I’ve ever heard. This actually happened twice with 2 different girlfriends, years apart, 2008 and 2010/2011ish. I lived 2 storeys up, plus I live in England so for me it can’t be Bigfoot but it was something evil

I can't believe they finally did a cryptid episode; always said he thought the idea of cryptids seemed silly! I'm compelled to agree with him though admittedly, I see some compelling evidence occasionally that makes me go "huh....hmmmmm...🤔"

I truly think the skinwalker ranch thing sounds like rubbish 😂 But I would like to hear AJ cover it for sure. I would prefer the Alien abduction stuff and have it be a long episode - but I know AJ isn't a huge fan of having everything ET related.

Occams razor. The more likely explanation is that the tentative "evidence" for the existence of these things are either the product of hoaxsters or just misinterpretations by genuinely well meaning people.

Where's your picture of it? All these silly claims. No pictures.

Thanks for sharing your story
I’m Puerto Rican, born and raised, and was 10 years old when the chupacabra situation was going on. I’m not going to say that is was true or not, but there’s one problem with the reason given to debunk the chupacabra story: There are no coyotes in Puerto Rico, or any similar type of animals. Except for stray dogs. There are lots of those. 😂
Regardless, I love this episode. Keep up with the great work!
Coyotes are technically wild dogs at least genetically.... A pack of "domesticated" wild/stray dogs could be mis-identified as coyotes to the average human...

I believe Chupacabra is a government genetic experiment.

So now I am wondering that this story might have travelled but then they coined a word for it which is a rare occurence for a language that isn't that common either. At that time we thought people are just taking about Hyenas or coyotes.
Where the dead animals also drained all the blood? It looked like the reports from all over the world were legit.

That is wild!!!
Same thing happened to us in Dorado. That’s crazy.

Let's see the pic??
Since the snow was melting, that would expand the size of the footprint.

Omg that is absolutely terrifying!!!
No, what you're hearing is the call of a person who was infected with the woke mind-virus and now identifies as a deer and lives in the forest
I live in Washington and have heard the whoops next to St Helens in Cougar. I'm in tri cities right now and most of the stories here come from the Blue Mountains. I have a very close friend who is a big foot hunter, he’s been hunting big foot all over the US for decades. My friend says that either big foot is really REALLY good at hiding, or he doesn’t exist. But…
He also says that people are seeing something.. some of the first hand accounts he’s been told are EXTREMELY compelling. Who knows?

😂
Yea oh fucking kay kiddo 😂😂
That little story held my attention, very good. I hope you're a story writer (not sarcastic)
So hoping your story is true...well, I believe you anyway! .got to say you were one lucky kid....for several reasons! Great story tho. TFS👍

It was still an amazing experience to swim in the most famous Loch in the world.
wh why would you do that??????
@@Shayzar1 just for the experience.
Loch Ness is a lovely place to visit . Cold .. but lovely
@thistlecleaning2196 i think they said 42°F on average, year round. It was September and a bit chilly out, so we didn't notice, really.
Brian Blesed has seen yeti in Mongolia.🇲🇳

The whole culture is new to me, and it seems to be very old and complexed, and very intriguing.

Happy birthday, mom! I appreciate you watching and supporting.
@@odinaden.Samurai chatter
I'll give Bob credit. He's found a way to make a decent living from fooling fools though.
Just like with the Patterson gimlin case, it seems like the Bigfoot always put a heavy boundary of downed trees on the exterior of their lurking grounds. Finding the downed trees blocking the path is a huge Bigfoot sign! Great video AJ!

I love how this was grouped together as a cohesive story of cryptids and broken down for each story as they are. 😊

Thank you so much for this one, AJ & Team. We love you all and everything you do! The Why Files is truly the best channel on YT! ❤️

I’ve seen that! Also reminded me of the patty footage, I have a link to some close up photos of Bf you’ve probably never seen before if you’d like to see? It also has a backstory

Damm bro. You missed a steal that day. Something like that would easy cost six fiddy now

Best advert ever. Who doesn't love a double entendre?
Thanks for sharing your story
This must be the first time I've stuck around to see the full add in the beginning of the video.
I laughed so hard. Thank you!
This has become my favorite channel in TH-cam !!! Man keep the good work, I have a story about alien abduction I don’t really remember much during the event but before and after are very vivid, I would like to tell the story someday. It happened around march and may 1991
I can't believe they finally did a cryptid episode; always said he thought the idea of cryptids seemed silly! I'm compelled to agree with him though admittedly, I see some compelling evidence occasionally that makes me go "huh....hmmmmm...🤔"

This is by far the best show on TH-cam!
Please make videos on the following topics:
1. Sodder children’s disappearence
2. Amelia Earhart
3. Skinwalker ranch
4. Ball lightning
5. Comprehensive episode on all alien abductions till date.
6. Phil Schneider
I truly think the skinwalker ranch thing sounds like rubbish 😂 But I would like to hear AJ cover it for sure.
I would prefer the Alien abduction stuff and have it be a long episode - but I know AJ isn't a huge fan of having everything ET related.

Skinwalker Ranch is definitely becoming pretty interesting. Not so much cryptids but potential wormhole activities. It's pretty nuts!
