About a Gateway build? There's plenty of Teleportation and Portal spells in the game after all
You might remember there being a "hero" in some gamemodes a while ago called Dire Safelane, literally a tower walking around and summoning lane creeps, maybe you could try remaking it with creep abilities, although idk how that would work out - maybe Lycan wolves for mellee creeps, Beastmaster boars for ranged creeps and Brewmaster aghs earth spirit for sige creeps?

I think it’s just the super creeps that you are talking about, it’s a mode on Dota 1 -sc for Super Creeps. It summons Hydra and Slark, idk which are the others.
There can never be a building cosplay competition without THE Dire safelane, truly the OG.
Dire Tower Safelane is a pretty cool building to play as. Maybe that after Tormentor?

Neutral Creep build, you're only allowed to pick active neutral spells, cdr talents and you throw your enemies into the fountain with the bird tornado
The problem is they are all one point wonders and deal hideous damage.
Which is why usually neutral spells are frowned upon.
Now what could be amusing is taking convention skills like Meepo net, Skeleton Crit, ursa Fury, dragon breath and building a hero around 'neutral' abilities. Preferably with a story like 'mega troll summoner' or 'Lizardfolk' to fit the background.

What the other team was doing seemed like it would be close to this idea.
Maybe have it so that if someone is kicked into the opposing teams fountain that counts as a goal (first to 50?).
This way, there's 2 ways to win, end the game normally by killing the ancient, but the other team can farm "goals" by kicking the enemy team into their own fountain area.
Should make a build where you make your hero model as big as possible
