    I loved that Front Loader I don’t know why but short wheelbase front loaders look so cool in my opinion great video Scott

      oh yeah and they're uncommon. off the top of my head I don't think it's more than 25 yards counting the hopper.

    I had a feeling they just might revive the WXLL DropFrame after the 310 got into that accident last year. As of August 1514 was sitting in the Industrial Parkway yard half dismantled and looking days away from the scrap yard. But I guess they kept it around long enough for a good reason! The fact they were able to bring it back to life running good as new is a testament to those old diesel trucks never really dying unless we make em. They sure don’t make them like that anymore. Glad you were able to film up there!

      I know we texted about it but for the record the MSL stuff is a bit older than the front load footage in this. that's no reason to rule out the possibility that 1514 was resurrected, as the particular model CAT engine in that truck is known to live forever. but it was an '89 so I'm not betting much. hope you can get up there soon and show us what's new. thanks for the comment

    What a great compilation!! Although these were all such cool trucks, I really liked the WXLL Side Loader and the front loader. Both were very just very cool lookin, especially with the signature Burrtec stripe on the side! Props to the drivers for working so hard, and excellent job on your part documenting this all. Great job my man!

    Amazing video man! I loved the old Volvo at the beginning, kind of reminded me of when I was a kid.

    No way. The 310 getting into the accident was really a blessing in disguise huh? I'm still in slight disbelief that you filmed this recently. Working here seems beyond a dream if only these trucks weren't nearing their life's end. All those crusher panels were just scary fast haha. That front loader looked badass in the morning fog, it reminds that scene from terminator. Kudos to Mountain Disposal for maintaining a little safe haven for the diehard fans of classic SoCal trucks (obviously without the slightest intention to haha) and you for following up with them after Eli's videos. I'll have to pay them a visit sometime...

      this was all filmed before our 310 took a little tumble. yeah that front load clip with the lightning was my favorite. you should go up there! it's another world in those mountains... to say the least

    5:30 is my favorite angle of this video. In fact all the FL shots had awesome scenery in the background. But that shot with the lightning....thats just plain amazing. I like the way the guy in 1514 hit every bin on the side of the body instead of just the drop n bonk on the sill. Find it kinda funny that the little body vent to see inside is way off to the left. I had never noticed that til now haha. did you happen to see if that whiny dumpster scout truck was still around on your recent trip? Definietly will be coming back to this one again. 5 stars ; )

    • @Trashman242
      @Trashman242  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      yeah the lightning was pure luck, if he hadn't lifted the bin a second time I probably would've barely missed it. I never noticed that either, maybe because you're primarily loading on the curbside so if anything is showing on the street side you really know it's full? also did you recognize that driver from our favorite truck during our first adventure there? I did not see that dumpster truck around, I'm pretty sure we saw something newer that confirmed it had been replaced. thanks for the comment bruh

    Epic stuff. These WhiteGMC and White MSLs sound fantastic and seem to have a good amount of life left. I love that whine with the rattling after it goes back in to idle. That WX front loader looked almost brand new, and it sounded great. What do you mean by a little more recent in your description? Great video, Can’t wait for more!

    • @Trashman242
      @Trashman242  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      thanks, and the front loader was actually a spare. just more recent than my last Mountain Disposal upload, which was from clear back in 2012. this was filmed 2014-2016

    Gosh Scott... Should would be swell if you made a full length motion picture of that Amrep drop frame MSL... Sure liked looking at that one. Also, I bet you were just super proud of yourself getting that lightening shot. ;-)

    • @Trashman242
      @Trashman242  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      you can tell I was proud because I totally didn't need to leave that second dumpster lift in the video... but I did. lol and I do happen to have some older footage of that drop-body Amrep, it's not HD but I'll be sure to post it in the next 10 years since I now know you're interested

      @@Trashman242 You're a really swell guy Mr Scott! I don't need HD since I usually don't watch YT videos in HD (it eats up my data). I'll keep an eye out for it when I'm in my 40's!!!

    Hey just let you know someone with the name WOWsoAmazed stole your thumbnail from the DNSY video and didn’t give you any credits. I don’t know if it bothers you, just wanted to let you know. Nice Video to, always interesting to see trucks from another country. Burrtec seems like a cool company, do you know why they have so many names and are they linked with Edco? Have a great day and greetings from Germany
