Reason why I think Katy's performance was better than 2016's. First off, Katy didn't give much detail before the halftime show. When Coldplay announced that they will be joined by Beyonce and Bruno, first of all, I knew Bruno would perform "Uptown Funk." Then Beyonce came out with "Formation," and I knew she would perform it. I think also Katy's guests were better because they weren't expected. She did tell the Lenny was performing with her, but not Missy. If Coldplay didn't announce who they were performing with than it would have been bigger. Also Katy, just the visuals were amazing. The years before had to many lights and it kind of got annoying. she had visuals that weren't too much and weren't too little. Katy also has way more singles that people know. This is my opinion but I would like to here every body's .

I think KP played minimalism with no fans on the field (not as audience), not so many dancers around her (if so she always stood out like on DH) and not so many songs or medleys. For me, the key of this show was all the different stages and worlds she created in 13 minutes, and that's what makes this one the most original one and the best for me.
