Lfc fan won’t beat around the bush other lfc fans can slate me but I’ve been to many game and the atmosphere died and started to really dip heavily with the G and H sagar and around the time we went out of the CL and went into europa 2009 10 season. It got a lot worse when FSG came in and hodgson became manager. I remember anfield being it’s loudest every game no matter the team 04 to 06 seasons was mind blowing and regardless of what redmentv and other channels big up the atmosphere unless it’s CL semi when 3 nil down or Man City then the atmosphere is really gone it’s more commercialised now since FSG came in and I still say with the extension of the main stand it’s done the opposite it’s killed the atmosphere in that stand because the previous build was compact and under a close roof so more chance of ricochet noise. I’ve stopped going now it’s just not worth the money for the exp they charge now.
Just to point this out, FSG did not hire Hodgson, he came in the June, FSG bought the club in October and he went at the start of January. Their first appointment was Kenny.
