Yeah and now we are stuck at 61k when all the top clubs are moving in multi purpose world class stadiums. Anfield is half a stadium. The other half is not fit for purpose.
@@tomscott2.0communisteditio64 I’ve been to Anfield on more than 25 occasions over the span of 10 years. The Kop and KDS are a joke for a club that’s supposed to be the 4th richest. The seats are terrible and have minimal leg room. The facilities are sub standard compared to the stadiums I’ve visited around Europe, the Middle East and Asia. I travel a lot (Pilot).
Although I'm not a Liverpool fan. Delighted that the club opted to stay at Anfield. Even with the new developments in the last 10 years it still remains as one of the last old school looking grounds.
Anfield Road is a beautiful and wonderful stadium, but the only obstacle is the length of its ground, which is not like other stadiums. This is a Liverpool FC fan from the Kingdom of Morocco 🇲🇦
The is probably the most energetic stadium ever in football history not hosting the most fans as a football stadium, but the noise is magnificent. This an iconic football club by all means. 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
Pleased you stayed at your home, I hope we { Newcastle United } can stay at St James's. There's a video of a 1901 Newcastle -V- Liverpool game here on youtube. Good video.
The new Annie road and main stand have been done well but the new kop is not a great build, the old kop had an awe the new kop is architecturally underwhelming at best
I don't understand our new tunnel. For one, it's not a tunnel, and two, there's barely anywhere for the two sides to line up pre-match. I thought they would've done more with it given how iconic the previous tunnel was with the 'This Is Anfield' sign above the stairs.
A great club, but the pitch size is not big enough to host Euro games, maybe it would have been better rebuilding, the look of it with the upgrade looks very odd.
Liverpool must go after RB Leipzig attacker Benjamin Sesko, probably as close to Haaland as you get and with better technique and the Egyptian prince Omar Marmoush from Eintracht Frankfurt.

So glad we redeveloped. All that history that we have added to in modern times. Hopefully continue for years to come.

That line "elites are grounded when they arrive" hit me hard. Wonderful stuff.
It's one of the main reasons I respect fsg , they saw Anfield and saw the emotional and commercial value.
2:18 That gable design is a thing of beauty. They need to remake it and use it somewhere around Anfield and the training ground.
Nice video, well presented. I love going back home to Liverpool and visiting Anfield and the museums in the city.

Best club ever. The envy of all. It may be brick, mortar, metal, and plastic, but the fans are the foundation ❤
That ending line was probably the best line I've heard....
Sly dig at Everton
Need kop and sir kenny Dalglish stands next fsg and sort out transport in Liverpool please too

Good work leaving Everton and building a proper club
Everton left Anfield let's get it right
@@robbiekop7 not this again. Everton existed already so how could it leave a club that didn't exist, to form a new club?
The owners of Anfield formed Liverpool FC once Everton had moved away over a rent dispute but I'm certain you knew that
cheers
Great stadium. Just a shame they can’t redevelop the Kopp and SKD stands to take it to over 70k capacity.
The new Annie road and main stand have been done well but the new kop is not a great build, the old kop had an awe the new kop is architecturally underwhelming at best
Anfield Road, once an impotent looking stand, now on steroids!
One of the greatest clubs on the planet? IT IS THE GREATEST CLUB ON THE PLANET
Where currently in the stadium is safe standing offered do you know? Ive seen its in places across the stadium but cant see where definitivley
The Kop and lower Anfield Road.

I think you forgot the anfield road end 2nd tier added in 1998
The Anfield Road Stand became The Centenary Stand in 1992 with the new upper tier in that year.
I think you are thinking of The Kop in 1994/5
@@merseydave1 No, it didn't.
Stadium was not 46,000 capacity before the main stand expansion.
What was it?
Thank God Everton never paid the rent ynwa

3 football stadia in Liverpool. All built by Everton. LFC are footballing equivalent of Israel

And its still to small
It still grates on me that we lost the last ever game in front of the old Kop 🥲
