- Jumail Abandoned Village in north-east Qatar located in the municipality of Al Shamal.[3][4] It was an important town in the northern peninsula prior to the 21st century.Some people call Ghost town because of Abandoned buildings , some buildings are already demolished and some are partially demolished .
Jumail Abandoned Village is located 115km from Doha. You can reach there through Zubara Fort road and from Al Shamal as well.
Back side of the village there is a beach with mangroves. Also we can see many sea snails shells on the shores.
Preferred time to visit the place during day time. Kindly request whoever visiting this place don’t throw any litters including plastic bottles
Its located approx. 20km from Zubara Fort , if you are visiting the Zubara Fort , pls visit the Jumail Abandoned Village to experience ancient Qatari Building structures .
