- Ashes Reborn: Red Rains offers players both new and old an exciting new format in which to wield their favorite Ashes cards! The Red Rains have returned and with them the Chimera - towering monstrosities that threaten to wipe humanity from the face of the planet! Only the Phoenixborn, those superhuman wizard-warriors of Argaia, stand between humanity and extinction.
The Red Rains turns Ashes Reborn into a solitaire or cooperative experience, with players banding together to fend off and slay one of the fiendish Chimera. Choose your Phoenixborn and build your deck, then face this foe alone or with a friend you can trust. Wield cards already in your collection, or add in the new spells and allies included here! Everything old is new again, including fresh takes on classic Phoenixborn!
Prepare for an all-new Ashes experience, and prepare to see this beloved game in a brand new light!

Errors:
- Any Rage Die roll counts towards Red Rains addition. Thanks @Birdman566
- The Standard Bearer’s ability works when you’re attacking with multiple units in the same turn, but you can only do that if you’re attacking a Phoenixborn. You can only use one unit to attack if you’re attacking a unit. Thanks @Birdman566
Great video! We need more people like you for Ashes Reborn content!
One clarification on rule, for Standard Bearer, it add status token ability only happens "at the beginning of the player turns phase", which "player turns phase" is the whole phase after the "prepare phase", where players each take multiple turns. In another word, there is only one trigger (as there is only one player turns phase each round) per round. I know this might sound confusing, but you may refer to the phases of play reference card and you might have a better idea of the ability :)
Thank you for the kind words and clarification on the standard bearer.
A valiant effort! I haven’t tried Standard 3, it looks rough! The Glare was annoying, but remember that when it’s exhausted its ability is blank, so then you can play your action and reaction spells.
The Standard Bearer’s ability works when you’re attacking with multiple units in the same turn, but you can only do that if you’re attacking a Phoenixborn. You can only use one unit to attack if you’re attacking a unit.
Regarding rolling a rage die for Regenerate’s ability, I first assumed that it didn’t stay on the power side like you did, but people on BGG said that it does. I don’t think it’s mentioned explicitly in the rules, but it works like other cards that have you roll/reroll the rage dice, so that makes sense. Basically, any time you roll the rage power side it goes up on the track, it doesn’t matter whether it’s a card or the standard Chimera turn that caused you to roll it.
Great feedback, thank you. I'll add to the coming errors pin. Amazing!
Thank you Canje studios as always for another great playthrough, I think there might be a rule error at the 16 minute mark. Units placed on the battlefield must be placed to the right of other units and the order of units cannot be changed. This rule is different than base ashes reborn rules and can be found in both red rains rulebooks. I could be wrong though! Thank you again!
Great catch! Thank you!
