Excellent, you break this lesson down into small memorable chunks, I've just subscribed to your channel because i like your style, its relaxing and not over the top, also subscribed to Alex Lyon and then noticed you had a link to him on another video, I'm delivering Presentation skills training to work colleagues and have found your tips quite helpful and they supplement my delivery. One of the main points i try and get across is that you want your audience to remember you and your message and then hopefully they will tell a story about you " i remember this guy once said ..........at a presentation and its always stuck in my head" . That's Gold dust ! Thanks Carl.
Thanks David! So glad you're finding the videos useful for your own training. Yes, being memorable certainly helps! Part of the great opportunity that comes with presenting is the chance to impart something valuable, something that might even change someone's life or outlook. Good luck and thanks again.
Awesom ! You have my gratitude , sir. This video is really valuable and worthy . I liked your way of explanation and your modesty . Again , I am deeply grateful !
@mrjohnnyscarface It's possible with certain cameras. Google: screenflow external camera. There's a great answer from the Screenflow people. I personally would rather use my regular camcorder if I have time, but for this video, the MacBook Air's built-in camera worked fine... better than I thought it would, actually :)
Hi Carl Thank you very much for your priceless advice. I always find your clips are so interesting and great. I'm not in a position to use the wonderful advice or tips from you right now, but I imagine they'll come to hand in futhure. Have a pleasent day!!
@mrjohnnyscarface Thanks Johnny! I got the Zoom H1 on Saturday, so couldn't use it for this video. I used my Edutige EIM-003 iPhone mic as a lav and recorded directly into Screenflow. The lav cable has input gain adjustment, so I was able to get some decent audio.
@gf50991 Hi Gustavo! Good question. In my opinion, both are just as important. You have to know your topic, but you need to be imaginative to communicate your knowledge.
My presentation is a group presentation (on social reformers) and i would like to ask that would it be okay to say the quote as a very first line? Even before starting the introduction? I will first say the quote and then I'll say goodmorning everyone blah blah blah? Pls tell
Hi sir, I am about to have presentation about myself. Do you have any specific quotes i can use to start/end my presentation? I have a hard time to find what's best. thank you

Anything in particular about Steve Jobs? There is so much information you can easily find.
Thanks too much. Moreover, can we say Good morning, Hi or How are at begining of our Presentation.
Of course you can! Be natural and relaxed, like speaking to friends or something.
